Fits Media V1 Pro and P3 MULTI vacuums, replaces OEM part BP2160J.
21.6V and 2000mAh deliver full motor torque on carpet and hard floors without voltage sag.
Slides straight into the battery slot with a front-facing connector and a locking tab that seats flush.
We bench-tested this cell on a V1 Pro motor load — the BMS held steady through blockage simulation with no early cutoff.
Do not leave this battery on the charging dock continuously; trickle charge degrades capacity faster than removing the pack once fully charged.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Midea V1 Pro / P3 MULTI — 21.6V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BP2160J)

This is a 21.6V 2000mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Midea V1 Pro and P3 MULTI cordless stick vacuums. It replaces OEM part BP2160J directly. Fit this battery when the original no longer holds charge or suction time has noticeably shortened.

  • V1 Pro and P3 MULTI compatibility: Both models run the same 21.6V rail and use an identical BP2160J battery pack with the same connector and BMS handshake. One battery fits either unit with no wiring changes.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the V1 Pro motor platform. The BMS responded correctly to current draw under simulated floor and carpet loads, and the protection circuit tripped cleanly under overcurrent — no thermal events observed.
  • Dock charging practice for this vacuum: Do not leave the V1 Pro sitting on the charging dock permanently. Cordless vacuums on continuous dock charge develop capacity fade faster than those charged only when depleted. Charge to full, then remove from the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens when motor voltage sags under load before the cell is actually depleted. On the V1 Pro, a partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, and the BMS may throttle output to protect the cell. The battery indicator tracks voltage, not current draw — so it still reads mid-range while suction has already dropped. Clean or replace the filter first, then retest under the same load.

Motor cutting out mid-clean and then recovering after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When airflow is restricted — blocked nozzle, full dust cup, or clogged filter — the motor works harder and current spikes past the BMS threshold. The BMS cuts power to protect the cell, then resets once current drops. The fix is not a new battery — clear the blockage, empty the dust cup, and check the filter. If cut-outs continue with clean airflow, measure pack voltage under load; a healthy cell should hold above 18V at the motor terminals during normal suction.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Midea V1 Pro suction feels weak almost straight away, but the battery light still shows half full — what's going on?

The battery indicator reads cell voltage, not actual motor output. If the filter is even partially blocked, the motor pulls more current than rated, which causes voltage sag at the cell before the indicator catches up. Check and clean the filter first — a restricted airflow path is the most common cause of early suction loss on this vacuum. If suction recovers with a clean filter, the battery is fine.

The V1 Pro motor keeps cutting out for a few seconds then comes back on — is the battery failing?

That cut-and-recover pattern is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a failing cell. The BMS shuts the circuit when current spikes past its threshold — typically from a blocked nozzle, full dust cup, or clogged filter — then resets once the draw drops. Clear the blockage and empty the dust cup before assuming the battery is at fault. If trips continue with clean airflow, check that pack voltage holds above 18V at the terminals during normal operation.

I left the V1 Pro on the dock every day and now it barely holds charge — did I damage the battery?

Continuous dock charging is the primary cause of capacity fade in cordless stick vacuums. The charger delivers a low trickle current indefinitely, which stresses lithium cells over weeks and accelerates capacity loss. The original battery has likely degraded from this habit, not from normal use cycles. With the replacement BP2160J, charge to full and remove it from the dock — do not leave it plugged in overnight or between uses.
