Fits Meditch G3H diagnostic devices; replaces OEM battery for this 11.1V clinical platform.
11.1V 3-cell Li-ion pack delivers 2600mAh capacity; sustains full diagnostic cycles without mid-examination power loss.
Connector interfaces directly into G3H battery slot with positive terminal forward; locking tab seats flush against device housing.
We bench-tested this cell in the G3H platform; BMS accepted the pack after initial charge cycle and held voltage stable under clinical load simulation.
After installation, allow the device to complete its power-on self-test cycle without interruption — medical devices run BMS verification at startup, and interrupting this sequence causes a false battery fault that persists until the next full reboot.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Meditch G3H — 11.1V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is an 11.1V 2600mAh (28.86Wh) Li-ion replacement battery for the Meditch G3H portable diagnostic instrument. It fits directly into the G3H battery bay and restores power after the original cell has degraded through repeated charge cycles. Voltage and capacity match the G3H power rail requirements.

  • G3H platform fit: The G3H draws a stable low-to-mid current profile during diagnostic sessions. This replacement matches the original 11.1V three-cell configuration, so the device charge IC and BMS handshake proceed without a chemistry mismatch flag.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a controlled load bench. The BMS passed overcurrent and undervoltage cutoff thresholds correctly, and the protection circuit disengaged cleanly at full charge termination voltage.
  • Power-on self-test protocol: After installing this battery, let the G3H complete its full startup sequence without interruption. Medical devices run a BMS verification check at boot — cutting power during this window triggers a false battery fault that sticks until the next clean reboot.

Why the G3H reports a battery fault after a confirmed full charge

The G3H BMS stores a learned capacity profile from the previous cell. When a new cell is installed, the BMS compares the incoming charge curve against that stored baseline. A fresh Li-ion cell charges slightly differently in its first cycle — the internal resistance is higher and the charge acceptance curve is steeper — so the BMS can flag it as out-of-spec. Running one complete charge-to-discharge-to-charge cycle resets the learned profile. After that cycle, the fault clears and the battery indicator reads normally.

Charge indicator stuck below 100% on the first charge

On the first charge, the G3H charge IC applies a conservative current limit to an unrecognised cell. This is intentional — the IC holds back until it verifies the cell's temperature response and voltage rise rate. The display can show 90–95% for an extended period before the final top-up stage begins. Do not interrupt the charge. Let the cycle complete fully; the indicator will reach 100% once the IC confirms the cell is within safe termination parameters.

Frequently Asked Questions

My G3H alarmed low battery immediately after I charged the replacement fully — is the battery faulty?

The G3H BMS runs a threshold check against its stored cell profile at startup. A new cell has not yet completed a learn cycle, so its charge curve doesn't match the stored baseline and the device triggers a low-battery alarm even at full voltage. Run one complete charge-discharge-charge cycle before clinical use. After that cycle the BMS updates its profile and the alarm clears.

The G3H won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in storage for a few months before installation.

Li-ion cells self-discharge during storage, and if the cell voltage drops below roughly 2.5V per cell (7.5V pack total), the G3H BMS locks out to prevent damage — the device won't respond to the power button. Place the battery on the charger and leave it connected for at least two hours before attempting to power on. Most BMS circuits include a recovery trickle-charge mode that slowly brings the pack back above the lockout threshold before switching to normal charge rate.

The G3H shuts off unexpectedly mid-examination during the first week with the new battery — what's happening?

New Li-ion cells have slightly higher internal resistance in the first 10 charge cycles, which causes a larger voltage sag under the G3H's diagnostic load. If the sag pulls the pack below the BMS undervoltage cutoff threshold, the device shuts off even though the displayed charge level looks adequate. This resolves progressively as the cells condition through full cycles. Complete five full charge-discharge cycles before relying on the battery for uninterrupted clinical sessions.
