Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Mindray PM7000 / Accutorr V / DPM Series — 11.1V Li-ion Replacement Battery (M05-010001-06)
This 11.1V, 6800mAh lithium-ion battery replaces the internal power cell in the Mindray PM7000, Accutorr V, DPM3, and DPM4 patient monitors, along with over 25 additional compatible models. It holds charge while the monitor runs disconnected from mains — during transport, bedside procedures, or power outages. Matches OEM part numbers M05-010001-06, LI23S003A, 0146-00-0099, and 115-018015-00 among others.
- PM7000 and DPM platform compatibility: These Mindray monitors share a common battery bay geometry, 11.1V three-cell Li-ion voltage rail, and the same BMS handshake protocol. One replacement cell covers the full platform without connector or firmware mismatch.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through the PM7000's startup sequence and monitored BMS communication at full load. The protection circuit responded correctly to charge termination and discharge cutoff — no false fault codes generated during the test cycle.
- Post-swap self-test requirement: After installing this battery, allow the PM7000 to complete its full power-on self-test without interruption. Cutting power during the BMS verification cycle registers a false battery fault that persists across sessions until the device completes an uninterrupted reboot.
Why the PM7000 alarms low battery immediately after a confirmed full charge
The PM7000's BMS stores a capacity baseline from the previous cell and compares it against the new cell's first reported state-of-charge. A fresh Li-ion cell that hasn't completed a full charge-discharge cycle reports capacity figures the BMS flags as inconsistent with its stored threshold — triggering a low battery alarm even at 100% indicated charge. This isn't a fault with the replacement cell. Run one complete charge cycle through the monitor itself, not a standalone charger, to let the BMS recalibrate its baseline. After that cycle, the alarm clears and the indicator reads accurately.
Monitor won't power on after the replacement cell sat in storage
Li-ion cells self-discharge during storage. If the cell voltage drops below approximately 9V — the PM7000's BMS recovery threshold — the protection circuit opens and the monitor will not respond to the power button at all. The fix is to connect the monitor to AC mains first and leave it charging for at least 90 minutes before attempting to power on. This allows the charge IC to bring the cell back above the BMS recovery floor, typically around 10.5V, at which point the protection circuit closes and normal startup resumes.

Frequently Asked Questions
The PM7000 shows a low battery alarm the moment I install a freshly charged replacement — is the cell defective?
The cell is not defective. The PM7000's BMS holds a capacity baseline from the old cell and flags the new cell's first-cycle readings as out of range, triggering the alarm regardless of actual charge level. Run one complete charge-discharge cycle through the monitor on mains power — not a standalone charger — and the BMS recalibrates. After that cycle, the alarm clears and the charge indicator reads correctly.
The PM7000 self-test fails after the battery swap and the monitor displays a battery fault code — how do I clear it?
A battery fault code after a swap almost always means the BMS learn cycle hasn't completed. Power the monitor off fully, connect it to AC mains, and allow it to charge uninterrupted until the indicator reaches 100%. Then power on and let the full startup self-test sequence finish without touching any buttons. One complete charge-discharge cycle after that resets the BMS learn state and clears the fault — do not place the monitor into clinical use until the self-test passes cleanly.
The replacement battery charge indicator won't reach 100% on the first charge — it stops at around 80% and stays there.
The PM7000's charge IC applies a conservative current limit on cells it hasn't profiled yet, which causes the indicator to plateau below 100% on the first charge. This is normal charge-controller behaviour with a new cell, not a capacity defect. Discharge the monitor on battery power until it shuts off automatically, then charge it fully on mains without interruption. After this first full cycle the charge IC updates its profile and the indicator will reach 100% on subsequent charges.
