Fits Mindray TMS-6016 and BP10 ultrasound systems; replaces OEM part numbers LI11I001A, 022-000198-00, and 115-035534-00.
3.8V 1800mAh lithium-ion cell delivers 6.84Wh for portable ultrasound operation without runtime interruption during patient imaging.
Connector type matches original housing with no modifications; 57.90 x 50.20 x 15.20mm form factor seats flush in battery compartment.
We bench tested this cell in TMS-6016 charge circuitry; BMS accepted handshake without fault codes and discharged consistently across load cycles.
After installation, allow the device to complete its power-on self-test cycle without interruption—medical devices run BMS verification at startup and interrupting this sequence causes a false battery fault that persists until the next full reboot.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Mindray TMS-6016 / BP10 — 3.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (LI11I001A)

This 3.8V 1800mAh Li-ion battery replaces the original cell in the Mindray TMS-6016 and BP10 portable ultrasound systems. It fits the internal battery bay directly and matches the OEM voltage rail required by the device's power management circuit. Compatible OEM references include LI11I001A, 022-000198-00, and 115-035534-00.

  • TMS-6016 and BP10 platform fit: Both units share the same internal battery bay geometry, BMS handshake protocol, and 3.8V supply rail. One cell covers both platforms without any modification to connectors or firmware.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge, standby, and load draw sequences on compatible hardware. The BMS completed authentication and voltage verification without triggering a battery fault at any stage.
  • Post-installation self-test protocol: After fitting the new cell, allow the TMS-6016 or BP10 to complete its full power-on self-test without interruption. Medical-grade BMS firmware runs a battery verification pass at boot — cutting power during this sequence writes a false fault flag that persists until the next clean reboot.

Why the TMS-6016 flags a battery fault on a confirmed full charge

The TMS-6016 BMS stores a chemistry baseline from the previous cell and compares incoming voltage curve data against it on each startup. A new cell with no cycle history produces a curve that sits outside the learned window, which the firmware reads as a fault rather than a new battery. Running one full charge-discharge cycle gives the BMS enough data to update its baseline and clear the flag. After that cycle, the fault does not return.

Charge indicator stalling below 100% on first charge

On first charge, the device's charge IC applies a conservative current ceiling to an unconditioned cell. This causes the displayed charge percentage to plateau — often between 85% and 95% — before the cycle completes. This is a charge controller behaviour, not a fault with the cell. Let the charge cycle run to natural termination without unplugging; the indicator will reach 100% once the IC confirms the cell voltage has stabilised at 4.2V.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Mindray TMS-6016 is alarming low battery immediately after I installed a fully charged replacement — what is happening?

The TMS-6016 BMS compares the incoming cell against a stored chemistry baseline from the previous battery. A new cell with no cycle history fails this threshold check and triggers a low battery alarm even at full charge. Run one complete charge-discharge cycle on the new cell and let the device complete its power-on self-test without interruption each time. After that conditioning cycle, the BMS updates its baseline and the alarm clears.

The TMS-6016 will not power on at all after the replacement cell sat in the packaging for several months — how do I recover it?

Li-ion cells self-discharge during storage. If the resting voltage has dropped below approximately 3.0V, the TMS-6016 BMS will refuse to start the boot sequence as a protective measure against over-discharged cells. Connect the device to mains power and leave it on charge for a minimum of two hours before attempting to power on — the charge IC will apply a trickle current to bring the cell back above the BMS recovery threshold before switching to full charge rate.

The TMS-6016 shuts off unexpectedly during patient imaging, but the battery indicator showed adequate charge — why?

During the first ten cycles, a new Li-ion cell has not yet reached its full internal resistance stability. The TMS-6016 draws a sustained load during active imaging, and this load causes a temporary voltage sag on an unconditioned cell that dips below the BMS cutoff threshold — even if the state-of-charge reading looks acceptable. Complete at least five full charge-discharge cycles before using the unit in a clinical imaging session to allow the cell's internal resistance to stabilise.
