This is a 14.4V, 2000mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Moppy Profi cordless vacuum and several models in the same family, including the 2.0 Profi, 2.0 B2000, and B3000. It fits the same battery slot as the original and restores full suction power when the factory cell has degraded. Capacity is 2000mAh (28.8Wh), matching the original specification.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

Ni-MH cells experience voltage sag under sustained motor load before the overall charge level is actually depleted. On the Moppy Profi, this shows up as noticeably weaker suction while the indicator still reads mid-range. A partially blocked filter makes this worse — restricted airflow forces the motor to draw more current than rated, which accelerates the sag. Clean the filter first, then charge fully; if sag continues early in a cleaning run, the original cell has degraded past useful capacity and needs replacement.

Motor cuts out mid-use then recovers after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a wiring fault. When the motor works against a blockage or a clogged filter, current draw spikes beyond the protection threshold and the BMS briefly disconnects the output. The vacuum restarts once the BMS resets, which takes a few seconds. Check and clear the filter and any blockage at the intake before assuming the battery is at fault — a clean airpath brings the current draw back within the BMS operating window.
