Fits Morange M1 Pro and M1 Pro Vlog gimbal; replaces OEM battery MSC11.
7.4V, 1000mAh Li-Polymer pack delivers steady voltage to all three motor axes during stabilisation.
Connector slides into gimbal battery slot with positive contact orientation; locking tab secures pack flush.
Bench test showed stable voltage delivery under simultaneous pan, tilt, and roll motor draw without BMS throttle.
Balance camera and gimbal before first power-on — unbalanced loads spike motor current and trigger cutoff mid-shot.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Morange M1 Pro / M1 Pro Vlog Pocket Gimbal — 7.4V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (MSC11)

This is a 7.4V, 1000mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Morange M1 Pro and M1 Pro Vlog Pocket Gimbal Camera. It slots in where the original MSC11 battery sits, restoring full motor drive to all three stabilisation axes. Capacity is 1000mAh (7.4Wh), matching the original specification.

  • M1 Pro and M1 Pro Vlog Pocket compatibility: Both models share the same 7.4V power rail, MSC11 connector footprint, and BMS handshake protocol — one battery covers both variants without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran the battery through full 3-axis stabilisation cycles including rapid pan and tilt sequences. The BMS held voltage through combined motor peak draws without triggering overcurrent cutoff.
  • Balance before first power-on after swap: Balance the gimbal with your camera attached before switching on after a battery change. An unbalanced load forces constant motor correction, which drives sustained high current draw and can trip the BMS during aggressive moves.

Gimbal not initialising correctly after battery swap

The M1 Pro runs an IMU self-calibration sequence at startup that requires stable, uninterrupted voltage from the moment you power on. If the battery connection is loose or the cell voltage is below approximately 7.0V, the IMU can fail mid-sequence, leaving the gimbal in a locked or drifting state. Fully seat the battery before powering on. If the gimbal still fails to initialise, confirm resting cell voltage is above 7.0V with a multimeter before trying again.

Stabilisation drift appearing before the battery indicator shows low

The M1 Pro's battery indicator reads state of charge, not real-time voltage under load. When all three brushless motors draw simultaneously during complex moves, voltage sags briefly below the threshold the motors need for accurate torque control — even if the indicator still shows mid-charge. The result is visible drift or sluggish axis response before any low-battery warning appears. If you notice stabilisation degrading during normal use, that sag is the cause; swapping to a freshly charged battery will confirm it immediately.

Frequently Asked Questions

My M1 Pro motors cut out completely during a fast pan, then restart on their own — what's happening?

The BMS is tripping on overcurrent. A fast pan spikes the draw across all three motors simultaneously, and if that combined peak exceeds the BMS threshold, it cuts power to protect the cell. It resets automatically once current drops back to safe levels. Balance the camera carefully before shooting and slow the pan speed slightly — if cutouts still happen on a fully charged battery, the original cell has degraded past its peak-discharge rating and the replacement will resolve it.

The gimbal housing gets noticeably warm after a long shoot — is something wrong with the battery?

That warmth is normal for extended three-axis brushless motor operation, but the battery contributes if the camera load is unbalanced. A misbalanced setup forces all three motors to draw continuously at higher current just to hold position, generating heat in both the motors and the cell. Check that the camera slides to the balance point on each axis before shooting. If the housing is hot rather than warm, power off and let the gimbal cool before continuing — sustained heat above normal operating range degrades Li-Polymer cells faster than cycling does.

The battery drains much faster than it did when the gimbal was new — is the 1000mAh capacity still the same?

The capacity of this replacement matches the original MSC11 spec at 1000mAh. Faster drain on older units is almost always mechanical — worn motor bearings or a camera that's shifted out of balance over time forces higher sustained current from the same cell. Re-balance the gimbal with the camera mounted and check that all axes move freely. If drain is still noticeably short after balancing, confirm charge voltage reaches 8.4V at the end of a full charge cycle, which indicates the cell is taking a full charge correctly.
