Fits MyPhone A919i Dual smartphone, replacing original 3.7V lithium-ion cell.
3.7V nominal, 2000mAh capacity delivers full operating power for calls, messaging, and apps.
Connector matches OEM slot orientation; no adapter needed for direct installation into phone cavity.
We bench-tested this cell on the A919i platform — BMS accepted charge without fault codes, voltage curve stable under modem and display load.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against this cell's discharge curve before high-current charging resumes.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

MyPhone A919i Dual — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V, 2000mAh (7.4Wh) Li-ion cell built to fit the MyPhone A919i Dual smartphone. It slots into the original battery bay and connects to the phone's charge IC and fuel gauge circuit. Use it when the stock cell no longer holds enough charge to get through a day of calls, messaging, and app use.

  • A919i Dual fit: The A919i Dual runs a dual-SIM radio stack, which draws more standby current than single-SIM phones. This cell matches the original 3.7V nominal voltage and 2000mAh capacity that the phone's BMS expects — keeping charge termination and low-voltage cutoff thresholds in spec.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the A919i Dual platform. The BMS accepted charge termination correctly, and the fuel gauge IC tracked state-of-charge without triggering early cutoff or overcharge flags.
  • First-cycle fuel gauge recalibration: After fitting this cell, disable fast charging if available and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle before normal use. The fuel gauge IC carries calibration data from the old cell — one complete cycle lets it map the new discharge curve accurately before high-current charging begins.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the A919i Dual after a cell swap

This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still running the old cell's voltage-to-capacity curve. When the new cell hits a voltage point the IC wasn't expecting, it misreads remaining charge and cuts power to protect the phone. The modem radio in the dual-SIM stack draws a sharp current spike during active calls, which accelerates the voltage drop below the cutoff threshold. One full discharge cycle — draining to auto-off and charging uninterrupted to 100% — resets the coulomb counter against the new cell's actual curve.

Battery percentage jumping erratically after replacement

Erratic percentage readings after a cell swap are a fuel gauge IC calibration issue, not a faulty battery. The IC was tuned to the internal resistance and discharge profile of the worn-out original cell — the new cell behaves differently under load, so the reported percentage jumps. Run two complete charge cycles without interrupting charging partway through. After the second full cycle, the coulomb counter recalibrates and percentage reporting stabilises.

Frequently Asked Questions

My A919i Dual won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for months — is the battery dead?

The BMS has tripped into deep-discharge lockout. If the cell dropped below roughly 2.5V during storage, the protection circuit opens and blocks current flow entirely. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 30–45 minutes without pressing the power button. Most BMS circuits recover and allow a trickle charge to begin once the charger voltage is detected; the phone should show a low-battery screen before attempting to boot.

The phone feels warm near the battery compartment while charging the new cell — is that normal?

Mild warmth on the first few charge cycles is normal. A new cell has higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell, so the charge IC dissipates slightly more heat as it pushes current through higher resistance. If the phone becomes hot to the touch or charging slows to a crawl, remove it from the case to improve heat dissipation and charge at room temperature. Warmth should reduce noticeably after three to four full cycles as cell impedance settles.

Fast charging stopped working after I fitted the replacement — the phone only charges slowly now?

The phone's USB charging protocol handshake sometimes fails on the first cycle with a new BMS that hasn't been initialised by the fuel gauge IC yet. Disconnect the charger, power the phone off completely, then reconnect — this forces the charge IC to renegotiate the charging profile from scratch. If fast charging still doesn't engage, complete one full standard charge cycle first; once the BMS has logged a complete cycle, fast charge handshaking typically restores on the next connection.
