Fits Nautiz X7 handheld scanner and replaces OEM part 441820900006.
3.7V and 6800mAh capacity sustains scanning and wireless data transmission through full warehouse shifts without mid-shift swaps.
Connector slides into scanner battery slot with positive terminal forward; locking tab seats flush against device housing.
We bench-tested this cell in an X7 cradle — BMS accepted the charge handshake on first insertion and delivered steady voltage under scan-burst load.
After installing, place the scanner in its cradle for one full charge cycle before using in the field — the scan trigger draws peak inrush current when the cell sits near minimum voltage and a pre-charged pack prevents false BMS cutoff on the first shift.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Nautiz X7 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (441820900006)

This is a 3.7V, 6800mAh Li-ion battery for the Nautiz X7 rugged handheld mobile computer. The X7 is used in warehousing, field operations, and logistics where shifts run long and downtime is not an option. Voltage and capacity match the original pack exactly at 3.7V / 25.16Wh.

  • Nautiz X7 platform fit: The X7 uses a fixed battery bay with a specific connector pinout and BMS handshake. This pack matches that layout — voltage rail, connector geometry, and communication protocol align with the device's power management system without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on X7 hardware. The BMS initialised correctly on first insertion, charge acceptance was normal from the cradle, and no fault codes were triggered during scan-burst load simulation.
  • First-shift prep for pick-and-pack use: After installing, place the X7 in its cradle for a full charge cycle before the first shift. The scan trigger inrush current is highest when the cell is near minimum — a fully charged cell prevents false BMS trips when scan frequency ramps up at shift start.

Cradle showing charging error on a new pack

A charging error on the X7 dock after fitting a new battery is almost always a contact resistance issue, not a pack fault. The dock's gold-plated pogo pins oxidise with repeated insertions and dust exposure common in warehouse environments. Wipe the battery's contact pads and the dock pins with a dry lint-free cloth, then reseat the device firmly until it clicks. If the error clears, the pack is fine — the dock was reading a high-resistance connection as a fault condition.

Scanner losing wireless connection during rapid scan bursts

During high-frequency scanning, the X7 draws simultaneously from the imager, processor, and wireless radio. If the cell voltage sags below the radio's minimum operating threshold mid-burst, the wireless stack drops and reconnection takes several seconds. This happens most often when the battery is below 20% charge or when the cell has degraded past its usable capacity. Check battery percentage before a busy pick run — if it reads below 20%, swap to a charged pack rather than continuing on a low cell.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Nautiz X7 stopped reading barcodes right after I put in the replacement battery — what's wrong?

The imager and laser need a minimum voltage to fire reliably, and a new pack sitting in storage can arrive at a partial state of charge. If the cell is too low, the scan trigger pulls enough current to dip voltage below the imager's operating threshold and reads fail. Put the X7 in its cradle and charge it fully before attempting any scanning. Once the pack reaches 4.1–4.2V, imager performance returns to normal.

The X7 runs noticeably shorter shifts with this new battery compared to our old packs — is something wrong?

Scan burst frequency and wireless polling interval both hit the battery harder than single-read use. If the device is set to continuous scan mode or a short wireless polling interval, draw is significantly higher than baseline and shift endurance drops accordingly. Check the X7's scan trigger mode and WLAN roaming settings in the device configuration — dialling back continuous scan to on-demand and extending the polling interval will recover a meaningful portion of shift endurance without changing the battery.

The X7 feels warm after a full shift in a warehouse — is that the battery or the device?

Sustained combined draw from the imager and wireless radio in an enclosed housing generates heat, and that's normal operating behaviour for the X7 class of device. The Li-ion cell itself runs warmer under continuous load than during intermittent use. If the housing is hot to the touch rather than warm, check that the device's back cover is fully seated — a gap disrupts airflow and traps heat. Surface temperature above roughly 45°C during use warrants a rest period before the next shift.
