Fits Acer Liquid Jade S, S56, Liquid Jade Z, and S57 smartphones; replaces OEM BAT-D10, CA325685G, and KT.0010B-009 cells.
Delivers 3.8V and 1900mAh capacity; this restores the original charge capacity lost through chemical degradation in the aged polymer cell.
Connector slides into the battery slot with the same orientation and locking tab as the factory pack; no adapter needed.
We ran a full discharge cycle on the Liquid Jade S; the BMS held voltage steady under mixed load until the final 5%.
On first charge after installation, complete one full discharge-charge cycle without fast charging to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate to the new cell curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Acer Liquid Jade S / Z Series — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BAT-D10)

This 3.8V Li-Polymer cell replaces the original BAT-D10 battery in the Acer Liquid Jade S (S56) and Liquid Jade Z (S57). Rated at 1900mAh (7.22Wh), it fits the internal bay of both handsets without modification. It covers the same connector pin-out and BMS handshake as the factory cell.

  • Liquid Jade S56 and S57 platform compatibility: Both the Jade S and Jade Z share the same battery bay geometry, connector type, and 3.8V nominal voltage rail. A single BAT-D10 cell fits both because Acer carried the same power architecture across both handsets in this line.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through a full charge-to-cutoff sequence and monitored BMS communication with the charge IC. The protection circuit tripped correctly at the low-voltage threshold, and the cell accepted a standard CC-CV charge profile without fault flags.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle before resuming normal use. This allows the fuel gauge IC to map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated state.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Liquid Jade S after a cell swap

After fitting a new cell, some Liquid Jade S units shut down abruptly at 20–30% reported charge. This is a voltage cliff issue — under peak modem or display load, the new cell's voltage drops below the BMS cutoff threshold before the fuel gauge registers a low state. The fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve, so the percentage reading lags behind actual cell voltage. One full discharge-charge cycle with no fast charging lets the coulomb counter re-anchor to the new cell's actual capacity.

Phone shows wrong battery percentage after BAT-D10 replacement

The Liquid Jade S uses a coulomb counter in the fuel gauge IC to estimate remaining charge. When you fit a new cell, the IC still holds the learned curve from the degraded original — so it reports inaccurate percentages, often jumping or inflating remaining charge. The fix is a full recalibration cycle: charge to 100%, then discharge under normal use until the phone cuts off, then charge back to 100% uninterrupted. After that single cycle, the fuel gauge reanchors to the new cell and percentage reporting stabilises.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Acer Liquid Jade S won't turn on at all after the BAT-D10 sat in a drawer for months — is the battery dead?

The BMS locks out the cell when voltage drops below roughly 2.5V per cell during storage — this is a protection trip, not permanent cell failure. Connect the phone to a wall charger using the original cable and leave it for 20–30 minutes before attempting to power on. If the charge IC detects a recoverable voltage, it will trickle-charge the cell back above the BMS re-enable threshold. If the screen shows a charging indicator after that wait, the cell is recovering — leave it until it reaches at least 15% before booting.

Fast charging stopped working on my Liquid Jade S right after fitting this replacement cell — is something wrong with the battery?

On the first cycle with a new cell, the charge IC on the Liquid Jade S sometimes falls back to standard 5V charging because the BMS handshake needs one full cycle to establish trust with the host charger. This is not a fault in the cell. Run one complete charge from near-empty to 100% using the standard charger, then reconnect — fast charge protocol acceptance typically restores on the second cycle. If it still reverts after three full cycles, check that the charger itself outputs the correct voltage and current.

The battery percentage on my Acer Liquid Jade S jumps around erratically — sometimes it drops 10% in seconds, then climbs back up without charging.

Erratic percentage swings point to the fuel gauge IC recalibrating against a new cell it has never seen before. The coulomb counter is still working from the old cell's stored discharge curve, so small load spikes cause large apparent drops. The cause is not a fault in the cell itself — it is a mismatch between the learned model and actual cell impedance. Run one full uninterrupted discharge-charge cycle with screen brightness at a normal level and no fast charging enabled; the gauge should stabilise to within a few percent accuracy after that single pass.
