Fits NEC Versa N1100, VJW10A12, and Versa N1200 laptops; replaces OEM part PC-VP-BP60/OP-570-76977.
11.1V, 2400mAh lithium-ion delivers 26.64Wh to sustain the Versa N1100's CPU and display load without mid-cycle shutdown.
Connector slides straight into the battery bay slot with a spring latch; orientation is keyed and cannot be reversed.
We bench-tested this cell on a Versa N1100 platform; BMS handshook cleanly and held 11.1V under sustained discharge without voltage collapse.
Run one full discharge cycle to hibernation cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears false health warnings that appear after cell replacement.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

NEC Versa N1100 / N1200 — 11.1V Li-ion Replacement Battery (PC-VP-BP60 / OP-570-76977)

This 11.1V, 2400mAh Li-ion cell replaces the original battery in the NEC Versa N1100, Versa N1200, and VJW10A12 notebook computers. It matches OEM part numbers PC-VP-BP60, OP-570-76977, and 8Y03366ZA. Capacity is rated at 26.64Wh — identical to the factory specification for this platform.

  • Versa N1100 / N1200 / VJW10A12 compatibility: These three models share the same 11.1V power rail, physical connector, and BMS handshake protocol — one cell fits all three without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on a Versa N1100 unit. The BMS accepted the new cell without fault codes, and charge termination triggered correctly at full capacity.
  • Post-install calibration on the Versa N1100: After fitting this cell, run one full discharge to the hibernate cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap on this platform.

Why the Versa N1100 BIOS reports poor battery health after a cell swap

The Versa N1100 BIOS reads health data stored in the old cell's EEPROM and compares it against the new cell's charge behaviour. A fresh cell has no accumulated cycle data, so the BIOS flags it as degraded — that reading is wrong. Running one complete discharge-to-hibernate followed by a full uninterrupted charge gives the fuel gauge IC enough data to recalibrate. After two or three full cycles, the health indicator corrects itself.

Versa N1100 shutting down at 20–30% charge remaining

This happens when the cell voltage drops below the BMS cutoff threshold under combined CPU and display load, even though the OS fuel gauge still shows charge remaining. The fuel gauge IC hasn't calibrated against the new cell yet, so its percentage estimate is ahead of actual cell voltage. It is not a faulty battery. Run two full discharge cycles to hibernate-cutoff and the fuel gauge will align — shutdowns at high-indicated percentages stop once the IC maps the real voltage curve of the new cell.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Versa N1100 shows the new battery as "0% available (plugged in, charging)" and never moves off that reading — what's happening?

The fuel gauge IC is reading EEPROM data from the previous cell and hasn't started tracking the new one yet. Disconnect the AC adapter, let the laptop run on battery until it hibernates, then plug in and charge uninterrupted to 100%. That single full cycle forces the IC to begin building a charge map for the new cell, and the percentage reading corrects within the next full cycle.

Windows reports the Versa N1100 battery as 26Wh but the BIOS power screen shows a different Wh figure — which is right?

The BIOS pulls the Wh figure from the cell's EEPROM, which may store the OEM-rated value from a different cell revision. Windows reads actual measured capacity after calibration cycles, which is the accurate number. The product data rating is 26.64Wh — if Windows is reporting close to that after a calibration cycle, the cell is performing correctly. Ignore the BIOS Wh field; it does not update dynamically on this platform.

The replacement battery charges to 100% once, but on the second charge it stops at around 80% and the charge light goes off — is the cell defective?

This is almost always the BIOS charge-limit firmware on the Versa N1100, not a cell fault. Some BIOS revisions on this platform activate a charge ceiling after the first cycle to protect against overcharge on aged cells. Check the BIOS power settings for a battery care or charge limit option and disable it. If no such setting exists, reset the BIOS to defaults — that clears firmware-applied charge ceilings and allows the cell to reach its full 11.1V termination voltage.
