Fits Nolan N-COM B902 L and B902 R helmet headsets; replaces OEM part BATTERIA 07 and SPCOM00000109.
3.7V 900mAh Li-Polymer cell delivers sustained power for two-way rider communication without mid-call dropouts.
Connector slides into the helmet unit housing; polarity marked on the cell contacts for correct orientation.
We bench-tested this pack on a B902 unit; BMS accepted handshake on first charge cycle without fault codes.
On first use, charge the headset in its dock for a full cycle before taking calls — the base station needs one complete cycle to calibrate talk-time estimates on the new cell.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Nolan N-COM B902 L / B902 R — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BATTERIA 07)

This is a 3.7V 900mAh Li-Polymer battery for the Nolan N-COM B902 L and B902 R motorcycle helmet communication systems. It replaces OEM part BATTERIA 07 (also listed as SPCOM00000109). When the original cell loses capacity after extended use, the helmet intercom cuts out faster or stops holding charge altogether — this pack restores full operation.

  • B902 L and B902 R compatibility: Both units run the same 3.7V cell with identical connector pinout and BMS handshake protocol. The L and R designations refer to left- and right-side helmet mounting — the battery itself is shared across both variants.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the B902 platform. The BMS accepted the pack without error flags, and the protection circuit tripped correctly at the low-voltage cutoff threshold under simulated audio and radio draw.
  • First charge in the helmet before riding: Seat the pack and place the helmet unit on charge for a full cycle before your first call. The N-COM firmware logs the new cell during this cycle — skipping it can cause the talk-time indicator to read incorrectly for the first several uses.

Why the B902 cuts out mid-call even with a new battery

The B902 draws current simultaneously from the audio amplifier and the Bluetooth radio. On a fresh or recently replaced cell, this combined load can briefly pull the terminal voltage below the BMS cutoff threshold — particularly at high volume or in cold ambient temperatures. The protection circuit reads this as an unsafe low-voltage event and disconnects the pack. The fix is to allow 3–5 full charge and discharge cycles so the cell's internal resistance stabilises, which keeps voltage sag within the BMS tolerance window.

Talk time shorter than expected on the first few charges

Li-Polymer cells ship at storage voltage — typically around 3.8V — not at full capacity. A single charge cycle does not bring the cell to its rated 900mAh immediately. Usable capacity builds incrementally over the first 3–5 complete cycles as the electrolyte fully wets the electrode structure. If talk time feels short after the first charge, run the pack through at least three full charge-to-cutoff cycles before drawing conclusions about battery health.

Frequently Asked Questions

My N-COM B902 base station shows a charging error after I fitted the new battery — what's wrong?

The B902 base uses a BMS handshake to verify the pack before it begins charging. If the cell arrives at storage voltage (around 3.7–3.8V), the base occasionally flags this as an unrecognised or fault state on first insertion. Remove the pack, reseat it firmly to ensure full pin contact, then place the unit back on the base. The handshake completes within a few seconds and the charging indicator should clear.

The helmet gets noticeably warm during long calls on the new pack — is that normal?

The B902 housing is compact, and the combined draw from the Bluetooth radio and audio amplifier generates heat that has limited space to dissipate. Some warmth during sustained calls is expected. If the unit becomes hot to the touch rather than warm, check that the replacement cell dimensions match the original — an oversized cell seated under pressure increases internal resistance and generates excess heat. The correct cell for this unit measures 46.10 × 33.80 × 8.30mm.

The base shows a full charge but the B902 cuts off after just a short call — what's causing it?

This happens when the cell was stored at low voltage and hasn't completed its first full conditioning cycle. The base reads the pack as charged based on voltage alone, but available capacity is still below rated level. Run the pack through two or three full charge-to-cutoff cycles — each one should restore progressively more usable capacity until the cell reaches its rated 900mAh.
