Fits OKP K3P, K4, K5, K7 cordless vacuums; replaces OKP 14.4V battery packs for these models.
14.4V, 2600mAh delivers consistent motor voltage across full cleaning cycles on carpet and hard floors.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with a locking tab that seats flush against the housing.
We bench-tested this cell with the OKP charging dock; BMS accepted handshake on first insertion without fault codes.
Do not leave this vacuum on the charging dock continuously — trickle charging degrades capacity fast; remove immediately after full charge.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

OKP K3P / K4 / K5 / K7 (14.4V Version) — 14.4V Li-ion 2600mAh Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V, 2600mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the OKP K3P, K4, K5, and K7 cordless vacuum cleaners (14.4V versions). It slots into the same battery compartment as the original cell and works with the existing charger. If your vacuum is cutting out early or no longer holding charge, this cell restores full operating capacity.

  • K3P / K4 / K5 / K7 platform fit: These OKP models share the same 14.4V battery rail, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol across the range. One cell covers the full group without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this battery through load conditions matching the OKP motor draw. The BMS held within spec on sustained suction cycles and triggered overcurrent protection correctly under blocked-filter conditions before resetting cleanly.
  • Dock charging on OKP vacuums: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock permanently. OKP cordless vacuums on continuous dock charge develop capacity fade significantly faster than units charged only when depleted. Charge to full, then remove from the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens when the motor draws higher-than-rated current against a partially blocked filter or brush roll. The BMS reads a voltage sag on the cell and reduces power output to stay within safe discharge limits — the indicator hasn't caught up because it reads state of charge, not instantaneous load. The fix is not always a new battery. Check the filter first: a clogged filter makes the motor work harder, pulls more current, and triggers the sag earlier in every cycle. Clean or replace the filter, then retest before assuming cell capacity is the issue.

Motor cuts out mid-clean then recovers after a pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is sustained against a restriction — a blocked nozzle, full dustbin, or compressed filter — the motor draws current beyond the BMS trip threshold. The BMS shuts the output, the motor stops, and after 10–30 seconds the BMS resets and power returns. Clearing the restriction stops the cycle from repeating. If the cutout continues on a clean filter with a new cell, measure resting voltage after a full charge — it should read between 16.4V and 16.8V off the charger.

Frequently Asked Questions

My OKP vacuum runs for less time than it did when it was new — could the filter be causing that?

Yes, a partially blocked filter is a common cause of shortened run cycles on OKP cordless vacuums. A restricted airpath forces the motor to work harder, pulling more current than rated and causing the BMS to reduce output sooner into each charge cycle. Clean or replace the filter before swapping the battery. If runtime improves after a filter clean, the cell was not the problem.

The OKP vacuum stopped mid-clean, sat for a minute, then started again — is the battery faulty?

That behaviour is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a cell failure. The BMS cuts motor output when current draw exceeds its threshold — usually triggered by a blockage, full dustbin, or compressed filter — then resets after a short pause. Clear any restriction and empty the bin before the next run. If it trips again immediately on a clean, unrestricted path, charge the battery fully and check that resting voltage reads between 16.4V and 16.8V before dismissing the cell.

I've had the replacement battery for a few months and it already seems weaker — what causes capacity to drop that fast?

On OKP cordless vacuums, leaving the unit on the charging dock between every use is the most common cause of early capacity fade. The charger continues to trickle current into a full cell, which stresses lithium-ion chemistry and degrades capacity cycle by cycle. Charge the battery to full, then pull it off the dock — store the vacuum unplugged until the next clean. Following that pattern from the first charge will slow capacity loss noticeably over the battery's life.
