Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

OnePlus 7 Pro / GM1910 — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BLP699)
The BLP699 is a 3900mAh Li-Polymer cell at 3.85V, built as a direct cell swap for the OnePlus 7 Pro and its GM1910 variants, including the Premium Edition and Premium Edition Dual SIM. It restores charge capacity lost through normal degradation cycles. Dimensions are 64.10 × 61.30 × 5.83mm — measure your original cell before installing.
- GM1910 and Premium Edition variants: All listed variants share the same battery bay geometry, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. The BLP699 part number applies across the full 7 Pro lineup regardless of regional SKU or dual-SIM configuration.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell on a GM1910 unit. The BMS accepted charge handshake on first connection, thermal sensors reported correctly through Warp Charge negotiation, and the protection circuit tripped cleanly at the expected low-voltage cutoff.
- Fuel gauge recalibration after install: On first use, disable Warp Charge in settings and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle at standard 5V input. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter against the new cell's actual discharge curve before high-current charging is applied to an uncalibrated cell.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the BLP699 replacement cell
This is a voltage cliff problem, not a capacity problem. Under high-load conditions — 5G modem polling, screen at peak brightness, or background sync — the cell voltage drops faster than the fuel gauge IC expects based on its stored discharge curve. The phone's protection circuit reads the sag as a critical low-voltage event and cuts power before the reported percentage reaches zero. One full slow-charge cycle recalibrates the coulomb counter and eliminates most occurrences. If shutdowns continue after recalibration, check that the connector is fully seated — a loose contact increases internal resistance and worsens voltage sag under load.
Warp Charge not activating after cell replacement
The OnePlus Warp Charge protocol requires a handshake between the charge IC on the phone and the cable or adapter — but the BMS on a new cell can affect how that handshake completes on the first cycle. If the phone charges slowly or the Warp Charge indicator never appears, run one full charge at standard USB-C 5V/2A first. After that cycle completes and the fuel gauge IC has baseline data, reconnect the Warp Charge adapter. The protocol should negotiate correctly from the second cycle onward. Confirm you are using the original OnePlus adapter — third-party chargers do not carry the Warp handshake signal.

Frequently Asked Questions
My OnePlus 7 Pro shuts off at 25% after fitting the BLP699 — is the new battery faulty?
Almost certainly not faulty — this is the fuel gauge IC reading a voltage cliff on an uncalibrated cell. The coulomb counter in the phone was mapped to your old degraded cell's discharge curve, so it misjudges how fast voltage drops under modem or screen load on the new cell. Run one full discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% using a standard 5V charger with Warp Charge disabled. That single cycle recalibrates the counter and resolves most sudden-shutdown events.
The battery percentage on my 7 Pro is jumping around erratically after the swap — went from 60% to 41% in two minutes.
The fuel gauge IC is still using the discharge model it built for the original BLP699 cell, which had a different internal resistance profile after years of use. When it encounters the new cell's voltage response, the coulomb counter corrects sharply and the percentage jumps. This settles after one or two complete discharge-charge cycles at standard charge rate. Disable Warp Charge for those first two cycles so the IC recalibrates against a steady, low-current charge curve rather than a high-current one that compresses the top-of-charge window.
The phone won't turn on at all after the BLP699 sat in a drawer for a few months before installation.
A Li-Polymer cell stored without protection can self-discharge below 2.5V per cell, which triggers BMS lockout — the protection circuit disconnects the cell to prevent damage and the phone sees zero voltage at the battery rail. Connect the phone to the original OnePlus charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC trickle-charges the cell above the BMS recovery threshold, typically around 2.8V, at which point the BMS reconnects and the phone will power on normally. If the phone still shows no response after 45 minutes on charge, the cell discharged below the recovery floor and will need replacement.
