Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

OnePlus ACE Pro — 7.74V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BLP945)
The BLP945 is a 7.74V, 2350mAh Li-Polymer cell built to replace the original battery in the OnePlus ACE Pro, ACE Pro 5G, PGP110, and OnePlus 10T 5G. It fits the dual-cell battery tray and connects to the same BMS harness as the factory unit. Capacity is 18.19Wh — matched to what the phone's charge IC expects.
- ACE Pro and 10T 5G platform fit: Both the ACE Pro and 10T 5G share the PGP110 board revision, which uses the same BLP945 connector pinout, cell voltage rails, and BMS handshake protocol — so one battery covers all listed variants without any wiring changes.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge passes on the ACE Pro, confirming the BMS accepted the cell, protection thresholds triggered correctly at the low-voltage cutoff, and the charge IC stepped through trickle, CC, and CV phases without fault flags.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: Disable SUPERVOOC fast charging for your first complete discharge-to-charge cycle after installation. This lets the coulomb counter and fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current fast charging pushes current into an uncalibrated state.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the ACE Pro after a cell swap
This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still running the discharge curve from the old, degraded cell. The new cell has a steeper voltage cliff at the low end, and the IC underestimates how close it is to cutoff. Under a heavy load — 5G modem handoff or display at full brightness — the cell voltage drops briefly below the BMS cutoff threshold and the phone shuts down. Run one full uninterrupted discharge from 100% to auto-off, then charge to 100% without interruption. After that cycle, the coulomb counter realigns to the new curve and the shutdowns stop.
SUPERVOOC fast charge refused on the first cycle after replacement
On first power-up with a new BLP945, the charge IC sometimes falls back to standard 5W USB charging instead of enabling SUPERVOOC. This is a BMS authentication step — the charge controller on a fresh cell needs to complete one slow-charge handshake before the proprietary fast-charge protocol is unlocked. Let the phone charge fully at whatever rate it accepts on that first cycle. SUPERVOOC will re-engage on the second charge once the BMS has logged the first full cycle event.

Frequently Asked Questions
My OnePlus ACE Pro shows a wildly jumping percentage after fitting the new BLP945 — is the battery faulty?
It is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve and is interpolating incorrectly against the new one. Run a single uninterrupted discharge from 100% down to auto-shutdown, then charge back to 100% without removing the cable. After that one full cycle the coulomb counter resets its baseline and the percentage reading stabilises.
The ACE Pro won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in storage for a few months before I installed it — what's wrong?
If the cell dropped below roughly 2.5V per cell during storage, the BMS enters a lockout state and blocks normal boot to protect against charging a deeply discharged cell at full current. Connect the phone to a 5W USB charger — not SUPERVOOC — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC will run a trickle pre-charge phase to bring the cell voltage back above the BMS recovery threshold, after which the phone will power on normally.
The phone gets noticeably warm around the battery area during the first few charges with the BLP945 — is that normal?
Yes, and it is specific to the first few cycles on a new cell. A fresh Li-Polymer cell has higher internal impedance than a broken-in one, so the charge IC dissipates slightly more energy as heat during the constant-current phase. Warmth drops off after three to five full cycles as the cell's impedance settles. If the phone is hot to the touch or triggers a temperature warning on the display after the fifth cycle, check that the battery connector is fully seated — a partial connection raises contact resistance and causes localised heating.
