Fits Orbic Wonder smartphone, OEM part number RC555L.
This 3.8V lithium-polymer cell holds 2900mAh capacity to restore full charge cycles.
Connector slides into the battery slot with a single locking tab on the left edge.
We ran the pack through three full discharge cycles on the Wonder; the fuel gauge IC initialized correctly and voltage held steady under load.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the coulomb counter recalibrates against the new cell discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Orbic Wonder — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (RC555L)

This is a 3.8V, 2900mAh lithium-polymer replacement battery for the Orbic Wonder smartphone (RC555L / ORB555LBVZPP). It replaces the original cell when the phone stops holding charge, shuts down unexpectedly, or won't power on. Capacity is rated at 11.02Wh — matching the original cell specification.

  • Wonder / RC555L / A1203 compatibility: These model numbers share the same physical footprint, connector pinout, and BMS handshake requirements — the 76.80 × 64.70 × 3.70mm cell seats correctly and the charge IC communicates without fault codes across all variants listed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge-discharge cycles on the Wonder platform and monitored the BMS through charge termination, low-voltage cutoff, and thermal thresholds. No spurious cutoffs or charge IC rejections were recorded.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After installing this cell, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This gives the fuel gauge IC a clean reference cycle against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging is reintroduced.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Orbic Wonder after a cell swap

A fresh lithium-polymer cell has a slightly different voltage-to-capacity curve than the aged cell the fuel gauge IC was calibrated against. When the phone's coulomb counter reaches a voltage it associates with near-empty — even if the new cell still has capacity — it triggers a protective shutdown. This is most noticeable under high-draw events like screen brightness spikes or LTE handoffs. One full discharge-to-shutdown followed by an uninterrupted charge cycle resets the reference and eliminates the early cutoff.

Phone shows fluctuating or jumping battery percentage after replacement

The Orbic Wonder's fuel gauge IC tracks charge state using a coulomb counter built around the original cell's internal resistance profile. A new cell has lower impedance, so the IC's state-of-charge estimates drift between readings — showing jumps of 5–15% in either direction. This is not a fault with the replacement cell; it resolves as the IC accumulates discharge data over the first two to three cycles. After three full cycles, percentage reporting should stabilise within ±3% of actual charge state.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Orbic Wonder won't turn on after the new battery sat in a drawer for a few weeks — is it dead?

Most likely the cell discharged below the BMS lockout threshold, which on lithium-polymer cells is typically 2.5V per cell. The BMS cuts output entirely at that point to prevent damage, so the phone shows no response even when plugged in. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell until it clears the lockout threshold, after which normal charging resumes and the phone will power on.

Fast charging stopped working on the Orbic Wonder right after I put in the replacement battery — was it working before?

On the first charge cycle after a cell swap, the phone's charge IC can reject the fast-charge handshake because it has no impedance history for the new cell. This is a one-cycle behaviour. Charge the phone fully using a standard 5V/1A charger for the first complete cycle, then reconnect your fast charger — the IC will accept the higher current rate once it has logged one baseline charge event against the new cell.

The Orbic Wonder feels warm near the back cover while charging the new battery — is that normal?

A new lithium-polymer cell has lower internal resistance than an aged one, and the phone's charge IC initially pushes current at rates calibrated for a higher-impedance cell. This mismatch produces mild warmth during the first two charge cycles. Warmth that is uncomfortable to hold or that triggers a charging-paused notification is outside normal range — check that the charger output does not exceed 5V/2A for this device. After the first two cycles the IC adjusts and the warmth level drops noticeably.
