Fits Oppo K5, Realme X2 Premium Edition, and RMX1991 phones; replaces OEM battery BLP751.
Voltage 3.85V, capacity 3900mAh — delivers full charge cycles without early cutoff on this platform.
Connector slides into the original battery slot with no locking tab; orientation marked on the cell.
We ran the BMS through three full discharge cycles; fuel gauge IC showed expected voltage decay curve.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the coulomb counter recalibrate against the new cell's discharge signature before high-current charging resumes.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Oppo K5 / Realme X2 — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BLP751)

The BLP751 is a 3.85V, 3900mAh Li-Polymer cell for the Oppo K5, Realme X2 Premium Edition, and RMX1991/PCNM00 variants. It replaces an original cell that no longer holds charge or causes unexpected shutdowns. Capacity figure is 15.02Wh as rated.

  • K5 and Realme X2 cross-compatibility: Both handsets share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — the 73.50 × 62.16 × 5.00mm cell fits either chassis without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran the BLP751 through charge and discharge cycles on a K5 unit. The BMS accepted charge from both standard and VOOC fast-charge inputs, and cell voltage held above 3.6V through the mid-cycle discharge range.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first install: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated coulomb counter.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the BLP751 replacement cell

This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still running the discharge curve of the old, degraded cell. The new cell's voltage drops faster under modem and screen load than the IC expects, so the OS reads 25% while actual cell voltage has already crossed the hardware cutoff threshold. The phone cuts out to protect the cell, not because the battery is faulty. One full manual discharge to auto-off followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% resets the coulomb counter and eliminates the premature cutoff.

VOOC fast charge not activating after cell replacement

On the first cycle after swapping the BLP751 in, the charge IC may fall back to standard 5V/1A input instead of negotiating the VOOC handshake. This is a BMS initialisation behaviour — the controller defaults to safe mode until it has completed one full charge cycle and confirmed cell impedance is within spec. Charge fully at standard rate first, then reboot the handset. VOOC negotiation typically resumes from the second charge cycle once cell voltage is confirmed stable at 4.35V.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Oppo K5 shows 25% battery and then shuts off without warning — is the replacement cell bad?

The cell is not bad. The fuel gauge IC calibrated itself against the old degraded cell and has not yet mapped the BLP751's discharge curve. Under modem or display load, cell voltage dips below the hardware cutoff before the OS percentage catches up. Run one full manual discharge to auto-shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the coulomb counter and stops the premature cutoff.

The battery percentage on my K5 keeps jumping around erratically after fitting the BLP751 — what causes that?

Erratic percentage jumps are a fuel gauge IC recalibration symptom, not a cell fault. The IC is making corrections in real time because it has no accurate discharge model for the new cell yet. Two or three full discharge-charge cycles without interruption will let the coulomb counter settle on an accurate curve. Avoid topping up from 60–70% repeatedly during this break-in period — partial cycles stall the recalibration.

My K5 won't power on at all after the BLP751 sat in a drawer for a few months before installation — how do I recover it?

Extended storage can drop cell voltage below 2.5V, which triggers BMS lockout to prevent damage. The BMS will refuse a normal charge handshake at that voltage. Connect to a 5V/1A charger — not a fast charger — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell until voltage recovers above the BMS wake threshold, after which a normal charge cycle will proceed.
