Replaces OEM part number BLP775 on Realme X50 5G models RMX2025 and RMX2021 smartphones.
Voltage 3.85V at 4000mAh capacity handles display, processor, and modem draw without throttling.
Connector is proprietary Oppo contact plate; orientation locked by asymmetric slot alignment on motherboard.
We bench-tested this cell on RMX2025 hardware — BMS accepted the pack on first insertion, fuel gauge IC initialized without fault codes.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the coulomb counter recalibrates against the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Oppo Realme X50 5G — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BLP775)

This is a 3.85V, 4000mAh (15.4Wh) Li-Polymer battery carrying OEM part number BLP775. It fits the Realme X50 5G, including model variants RMX2025 and RMX2021. The cell replaces a degraded or damaged original battery that can no longer hold a stable charge under the phone's processor, display, and 5G modem load.

  • RMX2025 and RMX2021 compatibility: Both variants use the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. The BLP775 cell fits either without modification — the fuel gauge IC reads cell chemistry identically across both PCB revisions.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge and discharge cycles on the X50 5G platform. The BMS accepted the cell on first insertion, charge termination triggered correctly at 4.35V, and no BMS lockout or fault codes appeared during testing.
  • First-cycle fast charge precaution: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and complete one full discharge-charge cycle at standard rate. This lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes into an uncalibrated state.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

After a cell swap, the X50 5G's fuel gauge IC still holds the discharge curve of the old, degraded cell. The new cell has a steeper voltage cliff under 5G modem and screen load than the IC expects. When voltage drops faster than the stored curve predicts, the system interprets it as a critical low-battery event and shuts down — even though the percentage displayed looks safe. One full discharge-charge cycle at standard rate forces the coulomb counter to rebuild its curve against the actual new cell. After that cycle, the reported percentage tracks real cell voltage accurately.

USB-PD fast charge not negotiating on first cycle after replacement

The X50 5G's charge IC performs a handshake with the battery BMS before accepting a fast-charge protocol. On a fresh cell, the BMS may return conservative parameters on the first cycle while it measures internal impedance. The charger sees this as a rejection of the fast-charge negotiation and falls back to standard 5W input. Complete one full standard charge cycle — the BMS updates its impedance profile and fast-charge negotiation succeeds on subsequent cycles. If the issue persists beyond two cycles, verify the USB-C port pins are clean and making full contact.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is my Realme X50 5G showing the wrong battery percentage after fitting the BLP775 replacement?

The fuel gauge IC on the X50 5G stores a discharge curve built from your old cell's behaviour — it does not automatically reset when you swap the battery. The new BLP775 cell has a different impedance profile, so the coulomb counter reports percentages against a curve that no longer matches reality. Run one complete discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% at standard rate — no fast charging. After that single cycle, the IC recalibrates and percentage readings track the new cell accurately.

My Realme X50 5G won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — what happened?

Li-Polymer cells self-discharge in storage, and if the BLP775 dropped below approximately 2.5V, the BMS entered a deep-discharge lockout state to prevent cell damage. The phone will not respond to a power button press in this state. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC port — and leave it for 15–20 minutes without pressing anything. The charge IC trickle-charges the cell above the BMS recovery threshold, at which point the BMS unlocks and normal charging resumes. If the indicator light does not appear within 30 minutes, the cell voltage may be too low to recover and the cell should be replaced.

The back of my Realme X50 5G gets noticeably warm near the battery area while charging the new cell — is that normal?

A fresh BLP775 cell has higher internal impedance than a cell that has been cycled — this is normal for a new Li-Polymer cell out of the box. Higher impedance means more energy converts to heat during the first several charge cycles as the charge IC pushes current into an unconditioned cell. The warmth reduces noticeably after three to five full charge cycles as impedance settles. If the phone becomes hot enough to be uncomfortable to hold after five cycles, switch to a charger that does not exceed the phone's rated wattage and check that the charge IC has not locked into a fault state by verifying the charging LED behaves normally throughout the cycle.
