Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Swisstone SC560 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (RCB06S01)
This is a 3.7V, 950mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Swisstone SC560 mobile phone. It matches the OEM part number RCB06S01 and fits directly into the SC560 battery bay. Voltage, capacity, and connector position match the original specification.
- SC560 fit: The SC560 uses a compact single-cell Li-ion pack at 3.7V nominal. This replacement matches the OEM discharge curve and BMS communication profile, so the phone's charge controller accepts it without flagging a fault condition.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through a full charge and discharge sequence. The BMS held cutoff at the correct upper and lower voltage thresholds, and the charge IC accepted the cell without triggering a protection trip.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated state — preventing erratic percentage readings from the first charge onward.
Why the SC560 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap
The SC560's fuel gauge IC stores a learned discharge curve from the previous cell. When a new cell goes in, the IC still references that old curve, which causes the displayed percentage to drift from actual state of charge. The fix is one uninterrupted full discharge down to automatic shutdown, followed by a full charge to 100% without interruption. After that cycle, the IC recalibrates its coulomb counter against the new cell. Percentage accuracy stabilises from the second cycle onward.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Swisstone SC560
This happens when the cell voltage drops sharply under modem or display load — a voltage cliff the fuel gauge didn't predict from the old curve. The phone's power IC interprets the sudden sag as a critical low-voltage event and cuts power before the displayed percentage reaches zero. It is not a faulty cell. Run one full calibration cycle as described above — the fuel gauge IC will learn where the actual voltage cliff sits on this cell and adjust the shutdown threshold accordingly. If the shutdowns continue past the third cycle, check that the battery contacts on the SC560 chassis are clean and making full contact.

Frequently Asked Questions
The SC560 shows 25% battery then shuts off without warning — is the replacement cell defective?
Almost certainly not a defective cell. The fuel gauge IC on the SC560 is still reading the discharge curve of the old battery, so it misjudges where the voltage cliff falls on the new cell and triggers an emergency cutoff before the display reaches zero. Run one full uninterrupted discharge to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% without interruption. After that calibration cycle the IC recalculates the cutoff point against the new cell and unexpected shutdowns stop.
The SC560 won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months before installation.
A cell stored in a discharged state can drop below 2.5V, which trips the BMS into lockout mode to prevent further discharge damage. The phone won't respond to a normal power-on press because the BMS is blocking output. Connect the SC560 to a wall charger — not a USB port — and leave it for 20 to 30 minutes without pressing anything. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell at a safe rate until voltage climbs back above the BMS recovery threshold, at which point normal charging resumes and the phone will power on.
Fast charging stopped working on the SC560 after fitting the new battery — it only charges slowly now.
On the first charge cycle after a cell swap, the SC560's charge controller defaults to a reduced current rate while it checks the BMS handshake on the new cell. This is normal behaviour, not a fault. Complete one full slow charge to 100%, then disconnect and allow the phone to discharge naturally to around 20% before charging again. On the second cycle the charge controller re-evaluates the BMS response and, if the handshake clears, restores the higher charge rate. If fast charging still does not resume after the second cycle, inspect the charging cable and adapter — the issue is upstream of the battery.
