Fits Oppo Reno 10x Zoom and replaces OEM battery part number BLP705.
Rated 3.85V and 3500mAh — supplies full system power to processor, display, and camera without voltage sag under load.
Connector type matches original; slides into the battery slot with locking tab secured at top edge.
We bench-tested the BMS on a CPH1919 unit; fuel gauge IC accepted the new cell and showed full charge cycle without early cutoff.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before USB-PD high current pushes into an uncalibrated BMS.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Oppo Reno 10x Zoom — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BLP705)

This is a 3.85V, 3500mAh Li-Polymer cell replacing part number BLP705 in the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom. It fits CPH1919, PCCM00, and PCCT00 variants. The cell matches the original's physical dimensions at 66.50 x 64.56 x 4.75mm and drops into the same connector position.

  • CPH1919 / PCCM00 / PCCT00 compatibility: All three board revisions share the same battery bay geometry, connector pinout, and BMS handshake voltage thresholds — one cell fits all without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the Reno 10x Zoom mainboard. The BMS accepted the cell without triggering a fault flag, and the charge IC stepped through trickle, CC, and CV phases as expected.
  • First-cycle calibration tip: On first use after installation, disable VOOC fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated coulomb counter.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Reno 10x Zoom after a cell swap

The Reno 10x Zoom's fuel gauge IC uses a stored discharge curve from the previous cell to estimate remaining capacity. A new cell with a slightly different internal resistance profile will hit a voltage cliff earlier than the old curve predicts. When the modem transmits or the 48MP camera fires, instantaneous current draw causes a sharp voltage dip that the BMS reads as a dead cell — triggering shutdown even though charge remains. Run two full discharge-charge cycles without fast charging and the coulomb counter will remap to the new cell's actual curve.

VOOC fast charge not activating on the first cycle after replacement

Oppo's VOOC protocol requires a handshake between the charger, charge IC, and the battery's BMS before elevated current is permitted. On the first cycle with a new cell, the charge IC defaults to standard 5V/1A input until it confirms the BMS is responding correctly. This is normal behaviour — not a fault. Connect the original VOOC charger, complete one full charge at standard rate, then reconnect. VOOC negotiation should complete and the fast-charge indicator will appear at the lock screen.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Oppo Reno 10x Zoom won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for months — is the cell dead?

It's likely a BMS lockout, not a dead cell. If the Li-Polymer cell discharged below approximately 2.5V during storage, the BMS trips an undervoltage protection latch and blocks output entirely. Connect the original Oppo charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button — the charge IC will trickle current into the cell to bring voltage above the BMS recovery threshold of around 3.0V, after which the phone should respond normally.

The battery percentage on my Reno 10x Zoom jumps around erratically — it reads 45%, then skips to 20% without draining that much.

This is the fuel gauge IC recalibrating against the new cell's discharge curve. The stored curve from the original BLP705 no longer matches the new cell's internal resistance and capacity profile, so percentage estimates drift. Let the phone discharge to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without unplugging early. One complete cycle is usually enough for the coulomb counter to lock onto the new curve and stabilise the percentage display.

The phone gets noticeably warm near the battery during the first few charges after fitting the new cell — is that normal?

Yes, and it's specific to the first few cycles. A new Li-Polymer cell starts with slightly higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell, so the charge IC dissipates more heat across that resistance during the constant-current phase. The warmth should reduce noticeably by the third or fourth charge as the cell's impedance settles. If the back of the phone stays warm well beyond the CC phase — when the charge indicator shows near-full — check that the charge port is clean and the cable is making a solid connection, as a high-resistance connection forces the charge IC to work harder.
