Fits Oppo RMX1901 and Realme X smartphones; replaces OEM part number BLP713.
3.85V, 4000mAh Li-Polymer cell delivers stable voltage under processor and display load cycles.
Connector type TS (two-pin gold); seats flush into original battery slot with no force needed.
We bench-tested full discharge cycles; the BMS accepted charge on first insertion without fault codes.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to recalibrate the fuel gauge IC against the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Oppo RMX1901 / Realme X — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BLP713)

The BLP713 is the OEM-spec Li-Polymer cell for the Oppo RMX1901 and Realme X smartphones. It runs at 3.85V and delivers 4000mAh (15.4Wh) of capacity. This battery replaces the original when the phone can no longer hold a charge through normal daily use.

  • RMX1901 and Realme X compatibility: Both devices share the same motherboard platform, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — one cell fits both without adaptation.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled the BLP713 through charge and discharge on the RMX1901 motherboard. The BMS accepted the cell, charge termination triggered at the correct 4.40V cutoff, and protection thresholds behaved within spec.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle at standard current. This lets the coulomb counter IC map its reference curve against the new cell before high-current VOOC charging pushes current into an uncalibrated state.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% after swapping the BLP713

This happens because the fuel gauge IC still holds the discharge curve from the old, degraded cell. The new cell has a steeper voltage cliff under modem and display load than the IC expects. When voltage drops sharply at 20–30% reported charge, the IC interprets it as a cutoff event and shuts the phone down. One full discharge to 0% followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% resets the coulomb counter and eliminates the false shutdown trigger.

VOOC fast charge not activating on the first cycle after replacement

VOOC requires a handshake between the charger, the charge IC, and the battery BMS. On the first cycle with a new cell, the BMS may present higher internal impedance than the charge IC expects, causing it to fall back to standard 5V/1A charging as a safety measure. This is not a fault with the battery or charger. Complete one full standard-current charge cycle — the charge IC will re-establish the VOOC handshake on subsequent connections once the cell impedance settles below the threshold.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my Oppo RMX1901 feel warm near the battery area during the first few charges after fitting the BLP713?

A new Li-Polymer cell starts with slightly higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell. The charge IC on the RMX1901 pushes current into that higher resistance, generating more heat than you'd see with a conditioned cell. This is normal for the first two to three charge cycles and reduces as the cell breaks in. If the phone stays warm past the fifth charge, check that you're using the original VOOC adapter — third-party chargers without the correct protocol can cause the charge IC to run inefficiently.

The battery percentage on my Realme X is jumping around erratically — it reads 45%, then skips to 60%, then drops back.

The fuel gauge IC uses a coulomb counter calibrated to the previous cell's discharge curve. A replacement cell with a different curve causes the IC to misread state-of-charge, producing the erratic jumps you're seeing. Run one complete discharge from 100% down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without using the phone. After that single cycle the coulomb counter resets its reference points and percentage readings stabilise.

My RMX1901 won't power on at all after the BLP713 sat in a drawer for several months before installation.

Li-Polymer cells self-discharge during storage. If the cell drops below approximately 2.5V, the BMS enters a lockout state and refuses to power the device to prevent damage to the cell. Connect the phone to the original VOOC charger and leave it for 15–20 minutes without pressing the power button — the charge IC will trickle current into the cell at a safe rate until voltage climbs above the BMS re-initialisation threshold of around 3.0V. Once the charging indicator appears on screen, normal charging has resumed.
