Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Vivo V17 Neo / V1913 — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (B-H0)
This is a 3.85V, 4400mAh Li-Polymer cell that replaces part number B-H0 in the Vivo V1913 and V17 Neo smartphones. It fits the original battery bay without modification. Capacity is rated at 16.94Wh and matches the factory specification for this model.
- V1913 and V17 Neo compatibility: Both model numbers share the same PCB layout, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — the V1913 is the internal hardware designation for the V17 Neo retail unit. One cell fits both.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran charge-discharge cycles on the V17 Neo with this cell installed. The BMS accepted the cell without fault flags, charge current ramped correctly through CC-CV stages, and cutoff triggered cleanly at 4.35V.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes into an uncalibrated coulomb counter — it prevents erratic percentage readings from the first day.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell
This happens when the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's internal resistance profile. The new cell hits a voltage cliff under modem or display load that the IC didn't anticipate, so the phone shuts down before the reported percentage reaches zero. It is not a faulty cell — it is a calibration mismatch. Run two full discharge-charge cycles without interruption and the coulomb counter will remap to the new cell's actual discharge curve. After that, shutdowns below 20% should stop.
USB-PD or Vivo FlashCharge not activating after cell swap
After a cell swap, the charge IC on the V17 Neo sometimes defaults to standard 5V/1A charging on the first cycle while it negotiates with the new BMS. This is normal behaviour — the controller is confirming cell acceptance before allowing high-current delivery. Plug in, let a full charge complete at standard rate, then unplug and replug. FlashCharge handshake typically re-establishes on the second connection once the BMS has logged one complete cycle.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Vivo V17 Neo won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is it dead?
The BMS locks the cell out when voltage drops below roughly 2.5V during storage, which is a hard protection state, not permanent damage. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything. The charge IC trickle-charges the cell back above the BMS recovery threshold, at which point the phone will boot normally. If the screen stays black past 45 minutes, check that the battery connector is fully seated on the board.
The battery percentage on my V17 Neo keeps jumping — it shows 45%, then skips to 60%, then drops back — what's causing that?
The fuel gauge IC on the V1913 board uses a coulomb counter calibrated to the original cell's impedance curve. A new cell has a different internal resistance profile, so the counter loses track of actual state-of-charge and reports erratic jumps. Run two complete cycles — discharge until the phone powers off, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — without triggering fast charge. After two full cycles the IC recalibrates its model to the new cell and the percentage stabilises.
The phone gets noticeably warm near the back panel while charging with the new battery — should I be concerned?
A new high-impedance Li-Polymer cell produces more heat during the constant-current charge phase than a broken-in cell does, because the charge IC is pushing current into a cell with slightly higher internal resistance out of the box. This is normal for the first three to five charge cycles and fades as cell impedance drops. If the back panel is hot enough to be uncomfortable to touch — above roughly 45°C — switch to the supplied cable and original adapter, which negotiates a lower charge rate than third-party fast chargers. Warmth that stays moderate and decreases over subsequent charges is not a fault.
