Fits Orange SPV E200 smartphone; replaces OEM battery SV10B and SV16A.
3.7V and 950mAh capacity powers this Windows Mobile device through processor, display, and modem loads.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with a single locking tab that secures flush against the phone frame.
We bench-tested this cell against the original discharge curve; the BMS accepted voltage regulation without dropout across the full discharge window.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-charge cycle without opening applications — this recalibrates the fuel gauge IC to the new cell's discharge signature before normal operation.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Orange SPV E200 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (SV10B / SV16A)

This is a 3.7V Li-ion replacement battery rated at 950mAh (3.52Wh) for the Orange SPV E200 smartphone. It replaces OEM part numbers SV10B and SV16A — the two original battery references used across SPV E200 production runs. Fit the cell, close the back cover, and the phone powers up as it should.

  • SPV E200 compatibility: The SPV E200 uses a single-cell Li-ion pack with a 3.7V nominal rail. Both SV10B and SV16A share the same footprint, contact layout, and cell voltage, so this replacement covers either variant without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge and discharge cycles on the SPV E200 platform. The BMS accepted charge current without fault, the protection circuit tripped correctly at the low-voltage cutoff, and the phone held power through the full discharge curve without unexpected shutdowns.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this replacement, run the SPV E200 down to automatic shutdown on first use, then charge it uninterrupted to 100% before switching off. The Windows Mobile fuel gauge IC needs one full cycle against the new cell's discharge curve to report percentage accurately.

Why the SPV E200 shuts down suddenly at 20–30% after a cell swap

The SPV E200's fuel gauge IC stores a discharge curve calibrated to the original cell's internal resistance profile. A new cell has a different impedance, so the gauge's voltage-to-percentage mapping is off until it recalibrates. Under modem or display load, the phone draws a short current spike that pulls cell voltage below the hardware cutoff before the gauge has registered low battery. The fix is one complete discharge-to-shutdown, followed by a full uninterrupted charge — after that cycle, the gauge tracks the new cell correctly and shutdowns at low percentage stop.

Phone feels warm near the battery compartment on the first charge

A new Li-ion cell arrives from storage with higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell. The SPV E200's charge IC pushes its standard charge current into that higher-impedance cell, which generates slightly more heat than normal during the first cycle. This is not a fault — impedance drops after the first full cycle and heat returns to normal levels. If warmth continues past the second full charge, check that the battery contacts are clean and making firm connection, as a high-contact-resistance fit amplifies the same effect.

Frequently Asked Questions

My SPV E200 powers on but shuts off the moment I open an app or the screen brightness jumps — why?

This is a voltage-sag shutdown. The new cell's internal impedance is higher before it's been cycled, and any sharp current draw — screen backlight, radio, app launch — pulls the cell voltage below the hardware cutoff for a fraction of a second, triggering shutdown even when the gauge still shows charge remaining. Run one full discharge to automatic shutdown followed by a complete uninterrupted charge. After that cycle, internal impedance drops and the phone handles load spikes without cutting out.

After fitting the replacement, the battery percentage jumps around — shows 60%, then 80%, then drops to 40% within minutes. What's happening?

The SPV E200 uses a voltage-based fuel gauge IC that was calibrated to the discharge curve of the original cell. A new cell has a slightly different voltage-to-capacity curve, so the gauge's percentage readings are unreliable until it recalibrates. Complete one full cycle — discharge the phone to automatic shutdown, then charge it without interruption to 100%. The fuel gauge IC maps the new cell's curve during that cycle and percentage readings stabilise from the second cycle onward.

The SPV E200 won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in the phone unused for a few weeks. Is the cell dead?

A Li-ion cell that sits below approximately 2.5V triggers a BMS lockout to prevent damage — self-discharge during storage can push it there. Connect the phone to a charger and leave it for at least 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC trickle-charges the cell back above the BMS recovery threshold before switching to normal charge current. Once the screen shows a charging indicator, let the phone reach 100% before first use.
