Fits Orange Stockholm and Gaga models; replaces OEM battery N/A and SKU CS-HU8150SL.
3.7V, 1100mAh lithium-ion cell delivers 4.07Wh; sufficient for full-day standby on Stockholm hardware.
Connector type uses standard phone battery contact pads; orientation marked on cell housing.
We bench-tested this cell in Stockholm hardware; BMS accepted charge current without fault codes.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging resumes.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Orange Stockholm / Gaga — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V, 1100mAh Li-ion cell that fits the Orange Stockholm and Orange Gaga handsets. Both phones share the same battery footprint and connector, so one part number covers both models. Capacity figures come from our product data — 4.07Wh total energy at rated voltage.

  • Stockholm and Gaga compatibility: Both handsets run the same 3.7V battery rail and use an identical physical connector and cell footprint. Swapping between models is not required — this cell slots into either chassis without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the Stockholm platform. The BMS accepted charge from the device's internal charge IC without flagging a fault, and current draw under screen and modem load stayed within expected limits throughout.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after install: On first use after fitting, disable fast charging if your network or charger supports it, then run one full discharge-to-charge cycle at standard rate. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its reference points against the new cell's actual discharge curve before high-current charging begins.

Why the Stockholm reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The fuel gauge IC in the Stockholm tracks charge state using a coulomb counter calibrated to the original cell's discharge curve. Fit a new cell and that reference no longer matches — the IC reads against old data. The phone may show 80% and shut down, or sit at 20% for far longer than expected. One full discharge from 100% to automatic shutdown, followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100%, resets the counter's endpoints and brings percentage reporting back into line.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This is a voltage cliff failure. Under combined modem and display load, the cell voltage drops sharply below the threshold the phone's hardware protection circuit will tolerate — typically around 3.2–3.4V — even though the fuel gauge still shows charge remaining. The old calibration curve does not predict that drop correctly on a new cell. Run the recalibration cycle described above, and if shutdowns continue, check that the battery contacts on the chassis are clean and making full contact, since high contact resistance amplifies voltage sag under load.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Orange Stockholm won't turn on at all after the new battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is it dead?

Most likely the cell discharged below 2.5V in storage and the BMS has locked out to prevent damage. Plug the phone into a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on. The charge IC needs a trickle current phase to bring the cell voltage back above the BMS recovery threshold before normal charging resumes. If the phone shows no charging indicator after an hour on a wall charger, check that the battery connector is fully seated.

The phone feels noticeably warm near the battery area during the first few charges — is something wrong?

A new Li-ion cell has slightly higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell, so the charge IC pushes current into more resistance than it was calibrated for — that extra energy becomes heat. It is normal for the first two or three charge cycles to run warmer than the original battery did. If the phone becomes hot to the touch or the charging indicator drops out and restarts repeatedly, remove the battery and check that no debris is caught between the cell and the chassis contact points.

Fast charging stopped working after I fitted the replacement — the phone just trickle charges now.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, some charge controllers will not accept the higher current handshake until the BMS has completed at least one full charge termination at standard rate. Let the phone charge fully at the slow rate it is currently using, then disconnect and reconnect the charger — the fast charge protocol should re-negotiate on the second connection. If it does not, confirm you are using a charger and cable that supported fast charging on the original battery, since a cable with high resistance can prevent the handshake regardless of the cell fitted.
