Fits PHICOMM X3 cordless stick vacuum; replaces OEM battery for this model only.
14.8V and 2600mAh capacity deliver consistent motor torque on carpet and hard floors without mid-cycle power sag.
Connector seats straight into the X3 battery slot with a single locking tab on the left side.
We bench-tested this cell on a full motor load cycle; the BMS held steady through sustained suction draw with no early cutoff.
Do not leave this battery on the X3 charging dock continuously after reaching full charge — trickle current accelerates capacity fade on cordless vacuums faster than discharge-then-charge cycles.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

PHICOMM X3 — 14.8V Li-ion 2600mAh Replacement Battery

This is a 14.8V, 2600mAh lithium-ion replacement battery for the PHICOMM X3 cordless stick vacuum. It fits directly in place of the original cell pack when the existing battery no longer holds a useful charge. Voltage and capacity match OEM spec: 14.8V nominal, 38.48Wh total energy.

  • X3 platform fit: The X3 runs a 14.8V four-cell Li-ion configuration. This replacement matches that cell count and voltage rail, which keeps the motor controller and suction regulation working at the same thresholds as the original pack.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through the X3's full discharge curve. The BMS held cutoff at the correct low-voltage threshold and did not trip on normal motor start current.
  • Dock charging behaviour on the X3: Remove the vacuum from the charging dock once the indicator shows full. The X3 dock does not terminate charge aggressively — leaving the pack on dock continuously accelerates capacity fade over weeks of standby trickle current.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens when the motor is working harder than normal — usually a partially blocked filter or restricted airflow path. The motor draws more current to maintain speed, which creates a voltage sag across the pack that the controller reads as low battery. The suction weakens even though the cell is not genuinely depleted. Clean or replace the filter first, then retest — this resolves the symptom in most cases without replacing the battery.

Motor cuts out mid-clean then recovers after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is restricted — blocked nozzle, full dust cup, or clogged filter — the motor draws a sustained high current that exceeds the BMS protection threshold. The BMS disconnects the pack to protect the cells, then resets after a brief cool-down. Clear the blockage and check the filter before assuming the replacement pack is faulty. If it trips again on a clean, unrestricted run, measure pack voltage at rest — it should sit above 15.6V on a full charge.

Frequently Asked Questions

My PHICOMM X3 suction gets noticeably weaker halfway through cleaning even though the battery light still shows green — is the new battery already failing?

Not necessarily. On the X3, a partially clogged filter forces the motor to draw excess current, which causes voltage to sag under load — the controller interprets that as low charge even when the pack has plenty of capacity left. Clean the filter thoroughly and empty the dust cup, then run again. If suction holds steady through the full clean, the battery is fine and the filter was the cause.

My PHICOMM X3 shuts off completely mid-clean and won't restart for a minute or two, then works again — what's happening?

That's a BMS overcurrent trip. The protection circuit inside the pack disconnects when current draw stays above the safe threshold for too long — this usually happens when airflow is restricted by a blockage or a saturated filter. The pack resets after the brief pause, which is why it comes back. Clear the nozzle, check the filter, and empty the dust cup. If it still trips on a clean, unrestricted run, check that pack voltage at rest reads above 15.6V.

I've been leaving my PHICOMM X3 on the dock all the time — could that have damaged the battery faster than normal use?

Yes. The X3 dock does not cut charge sharply once the pack is full, so it continues to pass a low trickle current through the cells during standby. Over weeks, that sustained trickle accelerates capacity fade in Li-ion cells. Going forward, charge to full and remove the vacuum from the dock rather than leaving it docked between every use. If the current pack already shows significantly reduced runtime, this replacement cell starts fresh — keep it off the dock when not actively charging.
