This is a 14.8V, 2600mAh lithium-ion replacement battery for the PHICOMM X3 cordless stick vacuum. It fits directly in place of the original cell pack when the existing battery no longer holds a useful charge. Voltage and capacity match OEM spec: 14.8V nominal, 38.48Wh total energy.

• X3 platform fit: The X3 runs a 14.8V four-cell Li-ion configuration. This replacement matches that cell count and voltage rail, which keeps the motor controller and suction regulation working at the same thresholds as the original pack.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through the X3's full discharge curve. The BMS held cutoff at the correct low-voltage threshold and did not trip on normal motor start current.
• Dock charging behaviour on the X3: Remove the vacuum from the charging dock once the indicator shows full. The X3 dock does not terminate charge aggressively — leaving the pack on dock continuously accelerates capacity fade over weeks of standby trickle current.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens when the motor is working harder than normal — usually a partially blocked filter or restricted airflow path. The motor draws more current to maintain speed, which creates a voltage sag across the pack that the controller reads as low battery. The suction weakens even though the cell is not genuinely depleted. Clean or replace the filter first, then retest — this resolves the symptom in most cases without replacing the battery.

Motor cuts out mid-clean then recovers after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is restricted — blocked nozzle, full dust cup, or clogged filter — the motor draws a sustained high current that exceeds the BMS protection threshold. The BMS disconnects the pack to protect the cells, then resets after a brief cool-down. Clear the blockage and check the filter before assuming the replacement pack is faulty. If it trips again on a clean, unrestricted run, measure pack voltage at rest — it should sit above 15.6V on a full charge.
