This is a 3.8V, 1500mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Prestigio PSP7505DUO smartphone. It carries OEM part number HX336271AA and fits both the PSP7505DUO and PSP7505 DUO variants. Dimensions are 69.70 × 59.45 × 3.32mm — confirm these against your existing cell before installation.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the PSP7505DUO after a cell swap

Under modem load — active calls, mobile data — the cell voltage drops sharply and the phone's protection circuit shuts the device down even though the percentage display looks fine. One full discharge-charge cycle without fast charging resets the coulomb counter and eliminates the false cutoff.

OS reporting erratic or jumping battery percentage after replacement

The PSP7505DUO's fuel gauge IC stores a learned discharge model for the previous cell. A new Li-Polymer cell with different internal resistance throws off those reference points immediately. The percentage can jump 10–15% in either direction during the first few charge cycles. Let the phone discharge to below 5% and charge uninterrupted to 100% twice — by the second full cycle, the coulomb counter stabilises and percentage reporting becomes accurate.

The BMS locks out when cell voltage drops below approximately 2.5V from extended storage, which prevents a charge from starting normally. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC on most PSP7505DUO units will trickle current into the cell until it climbs above the BMS re-enable threshold, at which point the phone boots normally. If the screen shows nothing after 40 minutes on the wall charger, check the charge port for debris before assuming the cell is faulty.

The PSP7505DUO is noticeably warm near the battery during the first few charges after fitting the HX336271AA — should I be concerned?

A new Li-Polymer cell has higher internal impedance than a broken-in one, so the charge IC pushes current into more resistance and generates more heat during early cycles. We measured surface warmth on the bench during the first two full charges — it stayed within normal operating range and dropped off by the third cycle. If the phone becomes hot to the touch rather than warm, or the back panel bulges at any point, stop charging immediately and inspect the cell seating. Normal warmth resolves on its own as the cell's impedance drops over the first few charge cycles.

Fast charging stopped working on my PSP7505DUO after I installed the new battery — the phone only charges slowly now.

The USB-PD or proprietary fast-charge handshake sometimes fails on the first cycle with a replacement cell because the charge IC applies a conservative current profile until it has verified the new BMS is responding correctly. Unplug the charger, power the phone off completely, then reconnect — this resets the charge IC negotiation sequence.
