Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Prestigio PSP7510 DOU / Muze C7 Duo — 3.82V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (PSP7510 DOU)
This is a 3.82V, 4900mAh Li-Polymer battery for the Prestigio PSP7510 DOU and Muze C7 Duo smartphones. It replaces the original cell when capacity has degraded or the battery has failed outright. Voltage and capacity match OEM spec at 3.82V and 18.72Wh.
- PSP7510 DOU and Muze C7 Duo compatibility: Both devices share the same battery bay geometry, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — the same 3.82V cell fits both without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the PSP7510 DOU platform. The BMS accepted the cell on first connection, thermistor reads tracked correctly, and charge IC terminated at the expected cutoff voltage without error flags.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this cell, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle before enabling it again. The fuel gauge IC on the PSP7510 DOU is calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve — one slow cycle lets it re-map against the new cell before high-current charging begins.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the PSP7510 DOU after a cell swap
This happens because the fuel gauge IC still holds the discharge curve of the old, degraded cell. When the new cell hits a voltage the old curve associated with 20–30%, the OS treats it as a low-voltage emergency and shuts down — even though real charge remains. The fix is one full, uninterrupted discharge down to auto-shutdown followed by a complete charge to 100%. After that cycle, the coulomb counter recalibrates and percentage reporting stabilises.
Phone warm near the battery during the first few charges after replacement
A fresh Li-Polymer cell has higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell. The charge IC pushes the same current into a higher-resistance load, and that resistance converts some energy to heat. This is normal for the first two to three charge cycles and fades as the cell's impedance drops. If warmth persists beyond the third full charge or the device feels hot rather than warm, check that the charge IC is not locked in a high-current fast-charge mode — drop it to standard 5V charging and confirm the back of the phone returns to ambient temperature within ten minutes of charging starting.

Frequently Asked Questions
My PSP7510 DOU shuts off at around 25% after I put in the new battery — is the cell faulty?
The cell is almost certainly fine. The fuel gauge IC stored the discharge curve of your old, worn-out cell, and it is still using that map to read the new one. At the voltage point the old curve labelled "25%", the phone triggers an emergency shutdown even though real charge remains in the new cell. Run one full discharge to auto-shutdown followed by a complete charge to 100% without interruption — that single cycle resets the coulomb counter against the new cell's actual curve.
Fast charging stopped working on the PSP7510 DOU right after I replaced the battery — USB-PD handshake keeps failing.
On first connection, the new BMS has not yet completed its initial communication cycle with the charge IC. Some proprietary and USB-PD charge protocols require a completed handshake before the controller steps up current. Plug in using a standard 5V charger and let the phone charge fully once. After that first full cycle, reconnect with the fast charger — the BMS will complete the handshake and the phone should accept the higher charge rate normally.
The PSP7510 DOU will not power on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months before I installed it.
If the cell voltage dropped below approximately 2.5V during storage, the BMS trips a deep-discharge lockout to protect the cell from an unsafe recovery charge. The phone will not respond to the power button in this state. Connect the phone to a 5V wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 20 to 30 minutes without pressing anything. The charge IC applies a trickle current that brings the cell voltage back above the BMS recovery threshold, after which normal charging resumes and the phone will power on.
