Fits Proscenic F16 cordless vacuum, replaces OEM part B20-T battery pack.
Supplies 11.1V and 2600mAh capacity, delivering sustained motor voltage under floor and upholstery cleaning loads.
Connector slides onto the dock terminal with flat orientation and seats flush against the motor housing latch.
We bench-tested this cell on F16 dock charge — BMS accepted the handshake without fault code and held voltage stable under sustained suction draw.
On first insertion, if the vacuum motor stutters during heavy carpet pass, remove the battery and reseat it fully — the F16 dock contact needs a clean cycle to recognize new cell firmware.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Proscenic F16 — 11.1V Li-ion Replacement Battery (B20-T)

This is an 11.1V 2600mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Proscenic F16 cordless stick vacuum. It replaces OEM part number B20-T directly. Capacity figures come from product data — 2600mAh, 28.86Wh.

  • F16 platform fit: The F16 uses an 11.1V three-cell Li-ion pack with the B20-T form factor. Voltage rail, cell count, and connector match the original — the vacuum's motor controller sees the same electrical signature it expects.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the F16 platform. The BMS handled charge termination cleanly at full voltage and engaged overcurrent protection correctly under simulated motor load spikes.
  • Dock charging habit on the F16: Do not leave the F16 sitting on its charging dock between uses. Continuous low-level trickle charging accelerates capacity fade on this cell chemistry. Charge to full, then remove the vacuum from the dock until the next use.

Cordless vacuum losing suction before the battery indicator reaches low

This is one of the most common complaints on the F16 — the suction feels weak well before the LED signals a low battery. The cause is usually a partially blocked filter forcing the motor to draw higher current than its rated load. The BMS reads the elevated draw and reduces output to stay within safe limits, which drops motor speed and suction. Clean or replace the filter first; if suction recovers, the battery is not the fault.

Motor cuts out mid-clean then recovers after a short pause

This points to a BMS overcurrent trip, not a failed battery. When suction is restricted — blocked nozzle, clogged filter, or heavy carpet fibres compacting at the intake — the motor labours and current draw spikes. The BMS shuts the output to protect the cells, then resets once the pack cools slightly. Clear the blockage and confirm filter airflow is unobstructed. If the fault persists on a clean filter, check that battery terminal voltage under load stays above 9V.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Proscenic F16 suction drops off quickly after a full charge — is the new battery faulty or is something else causing it?

A rapid suction drop-off after a full charge usually points to filter restriction, not a weak cell. A partially blocked filter makes the motor draw more current than rated, which causes the BMS to throttle output early to protect the cells. Remove and clean the filter thoroughly before writing off the battery. If suction holds after that, the battery is fine — the filter was the load driver.

The F16 motor shuts off mid-clean, then starts again after I wait a few seconds — what triggers that?

That pause-and-recover pattern is a BMS overcurrent trip. Sustained restricted airflow — from a clogged nozzle or dense carpet fibres blocking the intake — spikes the motor's current draw beyond what the BMS permits, so it cuts the output to protect the cells. It resets once thermal and current conditions settle. Clear the intake path and clean the filter; if the trips continue on a clear airflow path, check that the battery rests at or above 11.1V after a full charge.

I left my F16 on the dock for a few weeks and now it barely holds charge — did the battery fail or did continuous docking cause this?

Continuous dock charging is a known capacity killer for Li-ion packs in this class. The charger maintains a low trickle current indefinitely, and prolonged exposure to that state stresses the cells and accelerates capacity fade. A battery stored this way will often show noticeably reduced usable capacity even if the LED indicators look normal. Going forward, charge to full and remove the vacuum from the dock — only return it when the pack needs charging again.
