Fits Proscenic NEO 830P and NEO 820P robotic vacuums; replaces OEM battery CS-LTR300VX.
14.4V lithium-ion at 2600mAh delivers 37.44Wh to sustain motor torque under carpet resistance.
Slides into the dock connector slot with a positive tab lock; check alignment before seating.
We bench-tested this cell on the NEO 830P dock charger; BMS accepted the handshake without fault codes on first insertion.
Do not leave this battery on the charging dock permanently — continuous trickle charge degrades capacity significantly faster than removing when full.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Proscenic NEO 830P / NEO 820P — 14.4V Li-ion 2600mAh Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V 2600mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Proscenic NEO 830P and NEO 820P robotic vacuum cleaners. It slots into the same battery bay as the original and connects to the same BMS interface. Capacity is rated at 37.44Wh, matching the original power spec for motor and sensor operation.

  • NEO 830P and NEO 820P platform: Both models run the same 14.4V motor rail and share an identical battery housing and connector. One replacement cell covers both units without any modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through the NEO 830P charge cycle and monitored the BMS handshake. The protection circuit responded correctly to charge termination and low-voltage cutoff without triggering fault flags.
  • Dock charging habit on robotic vacuums: Do not leave the NEO 830P sitting on the dock permanently. Robotic vacuums on continuous dock charge develop capacity fade faster than those charged only when depleted. Charge to full, then remove from the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator shows low

A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than its rated load. The BMS reads this spike as a stress condition and reduces output voltage to protect the cell. The result is a noticeable drop in suction while the indicator still shows two or three bars. Clean or replace the filter first — if suction recovers and holds, the battery is not the fault.

Motor cuts out mid-cycle and then restarts on its own

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a failed battery. Sustained restricted airflow — from a clogged filter or tangled brush roll — causes the motor to pull above the BMS current threshold. The circuit interrupts power, waits for the overcurrent condition to clear, then resets. Clear the blockage, power the unit off fully, then restart. If the motor draws cleanly after that, the BMS is functioning as intended and the replacement cell is not at fault.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Proscenic NEO 830P installed the new battery fine but it won't hold a charge for more than one or two cleans — what's causing that?

A new Li-ion cell losing capacity that fast usually points to one of two causes: the filter is partially blocked, forcing the motor to overdraw and drain the cell faster than rated, or the unit has been left on the dock continuously, which causes trickle-charge degradation over time. Pull the filter and check for blockage first. If suction improves and runtime extends, the filter was the culprit — not the battery.

The NEO 830P starts a cleaning cycle, then the motor cuts out for a few seconds and kicks back in — is this a battery fault?

That cut-and-recover pattern is a BMS overcurrent trip. When the brush roll is tangled or the filter is restricted, the motor pulls above the protection circuit's current limit, which cuts power briefly until the load drops. It is not a cell defect. Clear the brush roll and filter, power the unit fully off, then restart — the trips should stop once airflow is unrestricted.

I charged the new battery to full but left the NEO 830P on the dock for a week — now the suction seems weaker than when it first arrived. Did I damage the cell already?

Yes, continuous dock charging is the most common cause of early capacity fade in robotic vacuums. The charger delivers a low trickle current once the cell hits 100%, and sustained trickle charge on Li-ion degrades cell chemistry faster than normal charge cycles. Going forward, charge to full and remove the unit from the dock. To check current cell health, run a full drain cycle and recharge once — if rated suction returns, the damage is minimal and the habit change will protect the cell from here.
