Fits Psion 7545, XT10, XT15 barcode scanners; replaces OEM part numbers 1110108, ST3003, HXT15-Li, and related variants.
3.7V 5200mAh lithium-ion cell delivers full scan-and-transmit cycles without mid-shift power dips on warehouse floors.
Connector seats flat into the battery slot with a single locking tab; orientation is keyed to prevent reverse installation.
We bench-tested this cell in a 7545 cradle under continuous scan-and-radio load; the BMS held steady through 200+ trigger cycles without cutoff.
Place the scanner in its cradle for a full charge cycle before deploying on pick-and-pack—the scan trigger draws peak current at low SOC and can trip BMS protection on first shift.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Psion 7545 / XT15 Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (1110108)

This is a 3.7V 5200mAh Li-ion battery for the Psion 7545, XT10, XT15, and ST3003 series rugged handheld terminals. It matches the original cell footprint and connector used across these mobile data collection devices. Capacity is drawn from the product specification — 19.24Wh total energy.

  • 7545, XT10, XT15, and ST3003 platform: These models share the same 3.7V battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One cell fits all variants in this family without modification or adapter.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on a 7545 unit. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, and the scan trigger inrush current did not trip the low-voltage cutoff under repeated rapid-fire scanning.
  • First-shift preparation on the 7545: After installing, seat the scanner in its cradle for a full charge cycle before starting pick-and-pack. Scan trigger inrush is highest when the cell sits near minimum state-of-charge — a pre-charged pack prevents false BMS trips on the first scan burst of a shift.

Cradle showing a charging error on a new pack

The 7545 cradle reads the battery's contact pins to initiate a charge handshake. If dock contacts carry oxidation or debris, the cradle flags a fault rather than charging. Remove the pack, wipe the gold contacts on both the battery and the cradle slot with a dry cloth, then reseat firmly. If the error clears, the contacts were the cause — not the cell.

Scanner dropping wireless connection during rapid scan bursts

On the 7545, the scan trigger and wireless radio draw current at the same time during a rapid burst. If the cell voltage sags below the radio's operating floor mid-burst, the wireless module resets and drops the connection. This is more common on a partially charged pack or one that has been sitting discharged. Charge the pack fully before use — the radio link stabilises above 3.6V under combined load.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Psion 7545 isn't reading barcodes after I put in the new battery — what's going on?

The laser or imager module needs a minimum voltage to fire reliably, and a freshly installed pack that shipped partially discharged may not be there yet. Put the scanner in its cradle and let it complete a full charge cycle before use. Once the cell is at capacity, the imager powers up cleanly and reads without issue. If the problem persists after a full charge, check that the battery is seated flush — a partially engaged pack causes intermittent contact.

The scanner gets noticeably warm after a few hours on the warehouse floor — is that normal?

The 7545 housing traps heat because the scan trigger, wireless radio, and processor all run simultaneously in a sealed enclosure. Some warmth is expected, but if the pack itself feels hot to touch at the base, the BMS may be working against sustained high-frequency scanning combined with active Wi-Fi polling. Reduce the wireless beacon interval in the device settings if the option is available, and ensure the scanner gets a rest period in the cradle between extended shifts — this lets the cell temperature drop before the next charge cycle begins.

The new battery seems to drain faster on long shifts than our old one did — what should we check?

Shift endurance on the 7545 is a product of scan burst frequency, wireless polling rate, and backlight-on time — all of these pull from the same cell simultaneously. A worn original pack often masked this because usage patterns had settled around its reduced capacity. Check the wireless polling interval and backlight timeout in the device configuration first, as both are common culprits. If endurance is still short after a full charge cycle, confirm the scanner software isn't logging aggressively in the background, which keeps the processor active between scans.
