Fits Pure Clean PUCRC95 robotic vacuum cleaner and restores OEM part compatibility without model substitution required.
14.4V and 1800mAh capacity delivers full motor and navigation power for autonomous floor cleaning cycles on this platform.
Connector seats vertically into the dock charge port with a single locking tab — verify the tab aligns before insertion.
We bench-tested this Ni-MH pack on a PUCRC95 dock charger; the BMS accepted the charge cycle without fault codes or early cutoff.
Remove the vacuum from the charging dock immediately after a full charge — continuous dock power causes Ni-MH capacity fade faster than charge-when-depleted cycles.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Pure Clean PUCRC95 — 14.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V, 1800mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Pure Clean PUCRC95 robotic vacuum cleaner. It restores power to the drive motor and navigation systems when the original cell degrades or stops holding a charge. Voltage and capacity match the original specification exactly.

  • PUCRC95 platform fit: The PUCRC95 runs its motor, sensors, and wheel drive from a single 14.4V Ni-MH cell pack. This replacement matches that voltage rail and physical footprint — 101.66 x 43.78 x 29.85mm — so it seats correctly in the battery bay without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through drive and suction loads on the bench. The BMS responded correctly to sustained motor draw and recovered cleanly after load spikes — no false cutoffs under normal cleaning cycles.
  • Dock charging habit on Ni-MH cells: Do not leave the PUCRC95 on its charging dock continuously. Ni-MH chemistry suffers capacity fade faster than Li-ion under trickle charge. Charge the battery to full, then remove the unit from the dock until the next cleaning session.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

This is a motor voltage sag issue, not always a dead battery. When the filter is partially blocked, the motor pulls harder to maintain airflow — drawing more current than the cell is rated for at that state of charge. The BMS throttles output before the indicator registers low, so the vacuum loses suction while the display still shows charge remaining. Clean or replace the filter first, then retest. If suction holds, the battery is fine.

Motor cutting out mid-cycle and then recovering on its own

This points to a BMS overcurrent trip caused by sustained restricted airflow — most often a clogged filter or a partial blockage in the intake path. The BMS cuts the motor to protect the cell, then resets once current demand drops. It is not a faulty battery. Clear any blockage, clean the filter, and confirm the intake path is unobstructed before running a full cycle. If the cutout continues with a clean filter, verify cell voltage sits above 12V at rest after a full charge.

Frequently Asked Questions

My PUCRC95 ran shorter cycles after I left it on the dock all the time — is the new battery going to do the same thing?

Continuous dock charging is the most common cause of Ni-MH capacity fade in robotic vacuums. The dock delivers a low trickle charge that slowly degrades cell capacity over weeks. With the replacement battery, charge to full and remove the unit from the dock — only return it when the battery is depleted. That single habit change is what preserves capacity over time.

The PUCRC95 suction feels weaker than it should even with a new battery — what's causing that?

A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current to maintain airflow, which causes voltage sag under load and reduced suction performance. The battery may be delivering full charge, but the extra current demand pulls it down faster. Remove and clean the filter, check the intake path for hair or debris, then run a cleaning cycle. Suction should return to normal if the airflow restriction is cleared.

The PUCRC95 won't charge after fitting the replacement battery — the dock light doesn't respond at all.

Some robotic vacuum chargers expect a specific voltage window from the battery before they begin the charge cycle. If the replacement cell shipped in a deeply discharged state, the charger may not recognise it. Connect the battery and leave it on the dock for 30–45 minutes without interruption — some chargers need that initial window to detect the cell and begin charging. If the dock light still does not respond, measure the battery terminals directly and confirm voltage reads above 10V.
