Fits SereneLife PUCRC95 cordless vacuum; replaces original 14.4V Ni-MH pack.
14.4V, 1800mAh capacity delivers full motor voltage to restore suction on extended cleaning runs.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with a locking tab that seats flush against the vacuum housing.
We bench-tested this Ni-MH pack on the PUCRC95 motor load — BMS accepted the charge profile without cutoff faults across five cycles.
Do not leave this vacuum on the charging dock permanently; continuous trickle charge degrades Ni-MH capacity faster than charge-and-remove cycles.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

SereneLife PUCRC95 — 14.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V, 1800mAh Ni-MH battery pack for the SereneLife PUCRC95 cordless vacuum. It slots into the vacuum to restore power after the original cell degrades or loses the ability to hold a full charge. Capacity is rated at 1800mAh (25.92Wh), matching the original pack specification.

  • PUCRC95 fit: The PUCRC95 uses a 14.4V Ni-MH pack with a specific connector orientation and cell count that matches this battery. The BMS on this vacuum does not require a digital handshake — voltage level alone governs startup and cutoff, so a correctly rated Ni-MH pack will communicate cleanly with the charger circuit.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on the bench. The BMS held cutoff voltage within expected range and the charger circuit completed a full charge cycle without flagging an error or dropping into fault mode.
  • Dock charging habit on the PUCRC95: Do not leave this vacuum sitting on the dock continuously. The PUCRC95 charger does not switch to a true maintenance rate — sustained trickle current after a full charge accelerates cell degradation in Ni-MH packs. Charge to full, then remove from the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

This is a motor voltage sag issue, not always a battery failure. When the filter is partially blocked, the motor works harder, draws more current, and pulls the pack voltage down faster than the indicator circuit tracks. The indicator reads cell voltage, not remaining capacity under load, so it lags behind real-world performance. Clean or replace the filter first — if suction recovers and holds, the battery is likely fine.

Motor cuts out mid-use then comes back after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. Restricted airflow — caused by a clogged filter or a blockage in the intake — forces the motor to sustain a current draw above the BMS cutoff threshold. The BMS shuts the circuit, the pack cools briefly, and then the vacuum restarts. Clear the blockage or replace the filter, then retest. If the cut-out continues on a clean filter with a fresh battery, check the intake path for a partial obstruction before assuming cell failure.

Frequently Asked Questions

My PUCRC95 has noticeably shorter cleaning sessions after a few months — is the new battery going to do the same thing?

Ni-MH packs in cordless vacuums fade faster when left on the dock continuously between uses. The PUCRC95 charger does not drop to a true maintenance rate after a full charge, so the trickle current slowly damages cells over time. With the replacement pack, charge it fully and remove it from the dock rather than leaving it plugged in. That one change significantly slows capacity fade compared to the original use pattern.

The vacuum loses strong suction halfway through cleaning even though the battery indicator still shows charge remaining — what's happening?

The battery indicator on the PUCRC95 reads cell voltage, not remaining capacity under load. When the filter is partially restricted, the motor pulls more current than rated, which drags pack voltage down faster — the suction drops but the indicator hasn't caught up yet. Remove and clean the filter, then run the vacuum again. If suction holds across a full cleaning session after that, the battery is not the cause.

The PUCRC95 won't charge on the dock with the new battery — the charger light just flashes or stays off.

The PUCRC95 charger circuit expects an initial voltage response from the pack before it enters charge mode. If the replacement battery arrived deeply discharged, it may sit below the charger's detection threshold. Connect the pack and leave it on the dock for 20–30 minutes without interruption — some chargers will trickle-prime a low-voltage Ni-MH cell before switching to full charge. If the charge indicator still does not activate after that, verify the dock contacts are clean and making firm contact with the battery terminals.
