Fits Klarstein CleanTouch and XR210C models using NS3000D03X3 or YX-Ni-MH-022144 battery slots.
14.4V at 2000mAh delivers the voltage your vacuum motor needs; capacity matches the original for consistent cleaning cycles.
Connector slides straight into the battery bay with a mechanical locking tab; orient the contact strip facing the dock.
We bench-tested the BMS on dock charge and verified the cell accepts full voltage without early cutoff or thermal drift.
Do not leave this battery on the charging dock after reaching full charge — continuous trickle charge degrades Ni-MH capacity within weeks.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

SAMBA CleanTouch Klarstein / XR210C — 14.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery (NS3000D03X3)

This is a 14.4V, 2000mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Klarstein CleanTouch handheld vacuum and the XR210C. It replaces OEM part NS3000D03X3 (also listed as YX-Ni-MH-022144). When the original cell degrades and suction shortens noticeably between charges, this is the direct swap.

  • CleanTouch and XR210C compatibility: Both models run the same 14.4V Ni-MH cell stack with the same physical footprint and connector orientation. The BMS threshold and cell count match across this pairing, so one replacement covers both units without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the CleanTouch platform. The BMS accepted the handshake from the charger without error, and motor-start current draw stayed within the protection circuit's cutoff window throughout testing.
  • Dock charging habit on Ni-MH cells: Do not leave this vacuum sitting on the charging dock after the charge cycle completes. Continuous trickle charging on Ni-MH chemistry accelerates capacity fade faster than regular use does. Charge fully, then remove from the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

This is a voltage sag issue, not a capacity failure. When the filter is partially blocked, the motor works harder, draws more current, and the cell voltage drops under load faster than the indicator circuit registers. The indicator reads resting voltage, not loaded voltage, so it lags behind what the motor is actually seeing. Clean or replace the filter first — if suction recovers and holds steady, the battery was not the fault.

Motor cutting out mid-clean and then recovering after a few seconds

This pattern points to a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead cell. Sustained restricted airflow — usually a clogged filter or blocked nozzle — forces the motor to pull above the BMS current limit, which triggers a protection cutoff. The BMS resets after a short thermal recovery window, which is why the vacuum comes back on its own. Clear the restriction and check the filter before replacing the battery. If the cutout stops after clearing the blockage, the cell is functioning correctly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my Klarstein CleanTouch lose suction halfway through a clean even though the battery light still shows full?

The battery indicator reads resting cell voltage, not voltage under motor load. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, which pulls the cell voltage down while the indicator still reads high. Clean the filter and check the nozzle for blockages. If suction recovers and holds after clearing the restriction, the battery is not the cause.

The motor on my CleanTouch shuts off suddenly and then starts working again after a few seconds — is the battery faulty?

That restart pattern is a BMS overcurrent trip resetting itself, not a cell failure. When airflow is restricted — blocked filter, clogged nozzle, or heavy carpet load — the motor pulls above the BMS current threshold and the protection circuit cuts power. It resets once the brief cooldown window passes. Clear the blockage first; if the cutout stops, the battery is working as intended.

My replacement Ni-MH battery for the XR210C fades noticeably faster than it did when new — what causes that?

Leaving the vacuum on the charging dock continuously after a full charge is the most common cause. Ni-MH cells degrade significantly faster under prolonged trickle charge than from normal discharge cycles. Charge the battery to full, then disconnect from the dock and store the vacuum unplugged. Follow that pattern consistently and capacity will stabilise at a much slower decline rate.
