Fits Samsung Galaxy A03 Core (SM-A032F, SM-A032F/DS, SM-A032M) and replaces OEM part SLC-50.
3.85V, 4900mAh Li-Polymer cell delivers full capacity across calls, messaging, and app load.
Connector slides into the battery slot with no locking tab — seat firmly until flush.
Bench test showed clean BMS handshake on first insertion with zero voltage sag under load.
On first full charge cycle after installation, disable fast charging to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging resumes.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Samsung Galaxy A03 Core — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (SLC-50)

This is a 3.85V, 4900mAh Li-Polymer battery that replaces the original SLC-50 cell in the Samsung Galaxy A03 Core. It fits SM-A032F, SM-A032F/DS, SM-A032M, and related variants. Swap it in when the original cell no longer holds a charge or the phone shuts down unexpectedly under load.

  • SM-A032F / SM-A032M compatibility: These variants share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One SLC-50 cell covers the full A03 Core line without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge cycles on an SM-A032F unit. The BMS accepted the charge IC handshake correctly, and the protection circuit tripped at the expected low-voltage cutoff threshold without false positives.
  • First-cycle fuel gauge reset: After installing this cell, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge down to auto-shutdown, then charge to 100% uninterrupted. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging begins on an uncalibrated coulomb counter.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the A03 Core after a cell swap

This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still using the discharge curve from the degraded original cell. When screen brightness peaks or the modem hits full transmit power, the new cell's actual voltage drops below the shutdown threshold faster than the gauge predicts. The phone reads 25% but the cell is already at the low-voltage cutoff. One full discharge-to-shutdown followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% recalibrates the coulomb counter against the new cell and stops the premature cutoffs.

Battery percentage jumping erratically after replacement

Erratic percentage jumps — 60% dropping to 40% in seconds, or climbing back without charging — point to a fuel gauge IC that hasn't recalibrated to the new cell's internal resistance profile. The old calibration data stored in the gauge doesn't match the new cell's impedance curve, so the reported state-of-charge swings wildly between readings. Avoid partial top-ups for the first two cycles. Let the phone discharge fully to auto-shutdown, then charge to 100% in one unbroken session — twice — to anchor the gauge to accurate reference points.

Frequently Asked Questions

My A03 Core won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is the cell dead?

Most likely the cell voltage dropped below 2.5V during storage, which triggers BMS lockout to prevent damage. The BMS disconnects the cell entirely at that threshold and the phone shows nothing — no boot, no charge indicator. Connect the phone to a wall charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes before attempting to power on; the charge IC will trickle-feed the cell back above the lockout voltage. If the charge indicator appears within that window, the cell is recovering — let it reach at least 3.6V before you boot the phone.

Fast charging stopped working on my A03 Core after I fitted the new SLC-50 — the phone just slow-charges now.

On the first charge cycle after a cell swap, the Samsung charge IC sometimes defaults to standard 5V charging until it completes one handshake with the new BMS. This is a safety behaviour, not a fault. Run one full slow charge to 100%, then disconnect and reconnect the charger — the adaptive charging protocol should re-negotiate on the second session. If fast charge still doesn't activate, check that you're using a Samsung-approved adaptive charger, as third-party adapters often can't complete the proprietary charge-rate handshake.

The A03 Core feels noticeably warm near the back panel while charging the new battery — is that normal?

Some warmth during the first two charge cycles is expected. A new high-impedance cell has slightly higher internal resistance than a broken-in cell, so the charge IC dissipates more energy as heat while the cell conditions. Temperatures up to around 38–40°C on the back panel are within normal range. If the phone becomes hot to the touch — above roughly 45°C — remove it from the charger and let it cool before resuming; charge it in an open, ventilated space rather than on a soft surface like a bed during those first two cycles.
