Fits Samsung Galaxy M30s (SM-M307F, SM-M307F/DS, SM-M315F) and replaces OEM battery EB-BM207ABY.
Nominal 3.85V and 5900mAh (22.72Wh) capacity restores full charge cycles on aged M30s units.
Li-polymer cell uses a flat connector plug with a single locking tab that seats into the battery bay slot.
We ran charge cycles on this EB-BM207ABY with the M30s fuel gauge IC active — BMS showed clean voltage ramp with no early cutoff or sag under load.
On first charge after installation, disable adaptive fast charging for one full discharge-charge cycle to let the coulomb counter recalibrate against the new cell curve before high-current charging resumes.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Samsung Galaxy M30s / SM-M307F — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (EB-BM207ABY)

This is a 3.85V, 5900mAh Li-Polymer battery for the Samsung Galaxy M30s, covering SM-M307F, SM-M307F/DS, and SM-M315F variants. It replaces OEM part EB-BM207ABY and GH82-21263A when the original cell has aged past acceptable capacity. At 85.10 × 64.30 × 6.00mm, it fits the factory battery bay without modification.

  • M30s and M31 platform fit: The SM-M307F and SM-M315F share the same battery bay geometry, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — which is why a single cell covers both. The fuel gauge IC on each reads the same thermistor and NTC values, so the BMS accepts the swap without throwing a hardware fault.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran charge and discharge cycles on the SM-M307F using a bench power supply and a calibrated coulomb counter. The BMS held the 4.40V charge ceiling, balanced charge termination correctly, and the protection circuit tripped at the expected 2.5V floor under resistive load.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first cycle: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. The fuel gauge IC was calibrated against your original cell's discharge curve — giving it one slow cycle lets it map the new cell's voltage profile before high-current charging begins.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This is the most common report after a cell swap on the M30s. The fuel gauge IC still holds the old cell's voltage-to-capacity lookup table, so it underestimates how quickly the new cell's voltage drops under modem or screen load. When the cell voltage sags below roughly 3.5V during a high-draw event — 5G handoff, screen-on burst, camera launch — the BMS cuts power before the OS registers the real state of charge. One full slow discharge down to auto-shutdown, followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100%, forces the coulomb counter to relearn the new cell's actual usable voltage window.

USB-PD fast charge rejected on first cycle after installation

After fitting a new cell, some M30s units revert to standard 5V/1A charging and refuse to negotiate Samsung Adaptive Fast Charge on the first connection. This happens because the charge IC re-evaluates the cell's impedance on the first cycle — a fresh, unformed cell presents higher internal resistance than the aged cell it replaced, and the charge controller defaults to conservative current limits until it completes one full charge sweep. Unplug the charger, power the phone off completely, reconnect the charger, and let it complete a full charge without interruption. Fast charging typically re-engages from the second cycle onward once the charge IC has profiled the new cell at 4.40V.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Samsung Galaxy M30s keeps shutting off at around 25% battery — did I get a faulty replacement cell?

Almost certainly not a faulty cell. The fuel gauge IC was calibrated to your original battery's discharge curve, and the new cell drops voltage faster under load at that state-of-charge point than the old one did. When the phone's modem or display pulls a burst of current, the cell voltage sags below the BMS cutoff threshold before the OS registers 0%. Run one full slow discharge to auto-shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without fast charging enabled — this resets the coulomb counter to the new cell's actual voltage window.

The battery percentage on my M30s is jumping around erratically — sometimes it gains 5% while I'm using it.

The fuel gauge IC is still working from the previous cell's lookup table. It maps measured cell voltage to a percentage estimate, and when the new cell's voltage curve doesn't match those stored values, the percentage reading becomes unstable — jumping up when load drops, spiking down when the screen or modem draws hard. Two to three full slow discharge-charge cycles without fast charging let the coulomb counter accumulate enough data points to rebuild an accurate discharge model for the new cell. After that, the percentage readings stabilise.

My M30s won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in storage for a few months — is it bricked?

Li-Polymer cells self-discharge in storage, and if the cell dropped below 2.5V per cell the BMS entered lockout mode to prevent damage — the phone won't respond to the power button because the protection circuit is blocking output. Connect the phone to a wall charger (not a computer USB port, which may not supply enough current to wake the BMS) and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing any buttons. Most M30s units will show the charging animation once the cell climbs back above 2.8V and the BMS releases the lockout; if nothing appears after 30 minutes, try a second charger to rule out a low-current source.
