Fits Samsung P200, P210, P230, P330 and 69 related models; replaces OEM part numbers AA-PBAN6AB, AA-PLAN6AB, and AA-PLAN9AB.
10.8V, 4400mAh lithium-ion delivers 47.52Wh — sufficient for 4–6 hours of mixed notebook use depending on display brightness and CPU load.
Connector slides into the battery bay slot with a single plastic locking tab on the right side; orientation is keyed and will not force.
We bench tested the AA-PBAN6AB against P330 hardware; BMS accepted full charge within two cycles and voltage held steady at 10.8V under sustained CPU load.
After installation, run one full discharge to hibernation cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears inaccurate health warnings.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Samsung P200 / P210 / P330 Series — 10.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (AA-PBAN6AB)

This is a 10.8V, 4400mAh (47.52Wh) Li-ion battery for Samsung P200, P210, P230, and P330 series notebooks, along with 69 additional compatible models. It replaces part numbers AA-PBAN6AB, AA-PLAN6AB, and AA-PLAN9AB. It fits directly into the original bay and connects to the same BMS handshake circuit the Samsung BIOS expects.

  • P200 / P210 / P230 / P330 platform fit: These Samsung notebook lines share the same 10.8V three-cell rail, identical connector pinout, and the same EEPROM communication protocol the BIOS uses to read battery state. One cell works across all four model families because the BMS handshake is identical.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge and discharge cycles on a P210 unit. The BMS initialised correctly on first connection, the BIOS recognised the cell without prompting a firmware warning, and charge current tapered normally at the 4.2V-per-cell ceiling.
  • First-cycle calibration on the P-series: After fitting this battery, run the laptop on battery power until it hibernates from low charge, then charge it uninterrupted to 100% without interruption. This resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap on these models.

Why the Samsung P-series BIOS flags a new battery as poor health

The Samsung BIOS reads capacity and cycle data stored in the original cell's EEPROM. When a new cell arrives, that EEPROM data doesn't match the BIOS's stored baseline, so it reports degraded health even though the cell is new. This is a data mismatch, not a hardware fault. One full discharge-to-hibernate followed by an uninterrupted charge resets the learn cycle and brings the health indicator back to normal.

Laptop shuts off at 20–30% charge shown on screen

This happens when the fuel gauge IC hasn't yet calibrated against the new cell's actual voltage curve. The OS reads a state-of-charge percentage based on the old cell's characteristics, but the new cell hits a steeper voltage drop under full CPU and display load at that level. The system interprets the voltage cliff as empty and shuts down before the gauge catches up. Run two to three full discharge-and-charge cycles and the fuel gauge IC recalibrates — the cutoff point will shift back to the correct low-voltage threshold near 3.0V per cell.

Frequently Asked Questions

Samsung P210 BIOS says battery health is poor right after fitting a new cell — is the replacement faulty?

It isn't a fault. The BIOS compares incoming EEPROM data against a stored baseline from the original cell, and a new cell's EEPROM doesn't match that record. We see this on every P-series swap we bench test — the warning clears after one full discharge-to-hibernate cycle followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100%.

The battery percentage on my P230 jumps around wildly for the first few charges — what's causing that?

The fuel gauge IC is still reading the new cell against calibration data built from the old chemistry. Until it collects enough charge and discharge data points from the replacement cell, the percentage estimates are unreliable. Run two or three complete discharge-to-hibernate then full-charge cycles without interrupting them, and the gauge IC will lock onto the correct voltage curve — readings stabilise from that point.

Windows shows the P330 battery capacity as lower than the rated 47.52Wh in system info — is it undersized?

The Wh figure Windows displays is pulled from the EEPROM on the cell, not measured live. The EEPROM on a replacement cell carries rated chemistry values that don't always match exactly what Windows expects from the original OEM part number. This is a data reporting difference, not a capacity shortfall. After one full calibration cycle, check the reported design capacity again — it typically aligns closer to 47Wh once the BIOS has completed a learn pass.
