Fits Saramonic WiTalk Hub Intercom Base Station and SRH remote headsets; replaces OEM part number WiTalk BP.
3.7V 950mAh Li-Polymer cell powers the central hub and coordinates DECT radio link to all paired headsets.
Connector slides into vertical slot on hub rear panel; locking tab seats flush with housing edge on insertion.
We ran full discharge cycles on the test unit; BMS accepted handshake within two charge pulses, no fault codes.
On first use, charge the hub in its dock for a complete cycle before deploying headsets — DECT base stations require the new cell's BMS to sync before talk-time estimates stabilize.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Saramonic WiTalk Hub Intercom Base Station — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (WiTalk BP)

This 3.7V 950mAh Li-Polymer cell replaces the original WiTalk BP pack in the Saramonic WiTalk Hub Intercom Base Station. It also fits the SRH remote headsets, WT5S, and WiTalk DRH units. Capacity matches OEM spec at 950mAh (3.52Wh) — no modifications needed to fit.

  • WiTalk platform fit: The Hub, SRH, WT5S, and DRH units share the same 3.7V cell format and connector pinout. The BMS on each unit expects the same voltage curve, so one cell spec covers the entire WiTalk ecosystem without wiring changes.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through a full charge-discharge cycle on the Hub base station. The BMS accepted the pack on first insertion, held charge without fault flags, and maintained stable voltage through the combined DECT radio and audio draw.
  • First-cycle conditioning on the Hub: Seat the new pack and leave it on charge in the base station for a complete cycle before your first session. The Hub logs the new cell during that first charge pass — without it, the talk-time indicator will read inaccurately for several cycles.

Base station not recognising the new pack after swap

The WiTalk Hub BMS performs a handshake with the cell on insertion. If the pack arrives at storage voltage — typically around 3.6V — the BMS may flag a charge error or show no recognition at all. This is not a faulty cell. Place the Hub on its charger for at least 30 minutes before expecting the status LED to clear. If the error persists past that point, reseat the connector and confirm the ribbon contacts are fully engaged before assuming the cell is at fault.

Headset cutting out mid-call despite a full charge reading

The WiTalk system draws current simultaneously for DECT radio transmission and audio processing. Under that combined load, a cell that has not completed conditioning cycles can sag below the BMS cutoff threshold even when the indicator shows full. The Hub's charge display measures resting voltage — not load voltage — so a shallow cell looks fine until transmission starts. Run three to five full charge-discharge cycles and the cutout behaviour typically resolves as the cell reaches its rated 950mAh delivery under load.

Frequently Asked Questions

The base station shows a charging error immediately after I put in the new battery — is the pack faulty?

Almost certainly not. The Hub BMS expects the cell to present above a minimum voltage threshold before it clears the charge flag. Replacement packs ship at storage voltage, which can sit low enough to trigger that error. Put the Hub on charge for 30–45 minutes without removing the pack — the BMS re-initialises once the cell climbs above approximately 3.7V and the error clears on its own.

Talk time is noticeably shorter on the new battery than it was when the original was new — what's going on?

Li-Polymer cells don't deliver full rated capacity on the first cycle. The WiTalk BP needs three to five full charge-discharge passes before the cell reaches its 950mAh ceiling. Each cycle conditions the electrolyte and brings available capacity up incrementally. Run it through at least three complete cycles — full charge in the base, use until the Hub indicates low, full charge again — before drawing any conclusions about capacity.

The headset feels noticeably warm during long production sessions — is that a battery issue?

Warmth during extended use is normal on WiTalk hardware. The DECT radio and audio circuits share a small housing with the cell, and sustained combined draw generates heat that has limited surface area to dissipate. What to watch for is heat that appears within the first few minutes of a fresh charge — that points to a cell fault rather than normal load. If the unit is only warm after 90-plus minutes of continuous transmission, the cell is behaving within spec; the housing is doing its job concentrating that heat.
