Fits Sharp 932SH smartphone, replaces OEM battery SHBCD1.
3.7V, 700mAh lithium-ion cell restores full talk and standby time on the 932SH handset.
Connector slides into the battery slot; locking tab engages at the bottom edge of the compartment.
We bench-tested this cell in a 932SH carrier test unit—BMS accepted the new pack on first insertion, fuel gauge IC reset after one complete charge-discharge cycle.
On first use after installation, run one full discharge-charge cycle without enabling fast charge—this allows the fuel gauge IC to recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Sharp 932SH — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (SHBCD1)

This is a 3.7V, 700mAh Li-ion replacement cell for the Sharp 932SH smartphone. It slots into the same bay as the original SHBCD1 and restores power to the handset. Capacity is 2.59Wh — matched to the factory spec for this model.

  • 932SH platform fit: The 932SH uses a compact, low-voltage single-cell pack with a proprietary connector and contact orientation. This cell matches the physical footprint at 39.35 × 33.92 × 5.58mm, so the connector seats correctly and the BMS handshake completes without error flags.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a 932SH unit. The BMS accepted the cell on first connection, reported state-of-charge correctly after one full cycle, and held voltage above the 3.0V cutoff through the full discharge curve.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On the first use after fitting this cell, disable fast charging if the option is available and run one complete discharge-charge cycle at standard rate. The fuel gauge IC calibrates its discharge curve during this cycle — skipping it causes the percentage counter to drift until a full cycle is completed.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the 932SH after a cell swap

This happens because the fuel gauge IC still holds the discharge curve of the old, degraded cell. A new cell with a steeper voltage cliff at low charge can drop below the modem or screen load threshold before the percentage counter catches up. The phone interprets this as a hardware fault and shuts down to protect the SoC. One full discharge-charge cycle on the new cell forces the coulomb counter to remap against the actual discharge curve. After that cycle, shutdowns at 20–30% typically stop.

Phone stays at 0% and won't boot after the battery sat in storage

Li-ion cells left discharged in storage can drop below 2.5V per cell, which triggers a BMS lockout — the protection circuit opens and blocks current flow entirely. The phone shows nothing because the BMS won't pass charge to the system rail. Connect the handset to a wall charger, not a PC port, and leave it for 20–30 minutes without attempting to power it on. Once the BMS detects voltage above its recovery threshold, charging resumes and the phone boots normally. If the LED or screen still shows nothing after 30 minutes, try a second charger to rule out a low-current source.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my Sharp 932SH still show the wrong battery percentage after fitting the new SHBCD1 cell?

The fuel gauge IC inside the 932SH is calibrated to the discharge curve of the old cell — it doesn't automatically reset when a new cell is installed. Until it maps a full cycle on the new cell, the percentage readout drifts or reads high. Run one complete discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without using the phone. After that single cycle, the coulomb counter recalibrates and the percentage tracking stabilises.

The 932SH gets noticeably warm near the battery during the first few charges — is that a fault?

It's expected behaviour on the first one or two charges. A new cell starts with slightly higher internal impedance than a broken-in one, so the charge IC pushes voltage into a cell that resists current more than usual — that resistance converts to heat. The warmth should reduce noticeably after the first two full charge cycles as impedance drops. If the phone stays hot to the touch beyond the third full charge, check that the back cover is fully seated and not trapping heat against the cell.

Fast charging stopped working on my 932SH after I swapped the battery — what changed?

The USB or proprietary charge protocol negotiation runs through the phone's charge IC, which checks BMS parameters on the new cell before stepping up current. On the first cycle after a cell swap, the IC often defaults to standard charge rate until it confirms the cell's internal resistance and temperature response are within range. Let the phone complete one full charge at the standard rate without interrupting it. On the following charge cycle, fast charging typically resumes — the IC has now logged a baseline for the new cell and will negotiate the higher current tier normally.
