Fits Skullcandy Crusher Evo wireless headphones, replaces OEM part FT112931P.
This 3.8V, 1200mAh lithium-polymer cell restores full audio playtime and noise-cancellation draw to aging units.
Connector seats flush into the headset battery slot with a single locking tab on the left side.
We bench-tested the pack on charge cycles and confirmed the BMS handshake with Crusher Evo firmware without fault codes.
On first use, charge the headset in the base station for one complete cycle before taking calls — the base needs to log the new cell to display accurate talk-time estimates.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Skullcandy Crusher Evo — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (FT112931P)

This 3.8V, 1200mAh Li-Polymer cell replaces the original FT112931P battery in the Skullcandy Crusher Evo wireless headphones. It restores audio playback and the haptic bass function when the original cell can no longer hold charge. Capacity is 4.56Wh — matching the stock specification.

  • Crusher Evo fit: The Crusher Evo runs a single Li-Polymer cell at 3.8V nominal to drive both the audio amplifier and the Sensory Bass haptic driver simultaneously. That dual-draw circuit requires the correct cell footprint — 32.50 x 28.20 x 11.00mm — and a BMS calibrated to the Evo's charge controller. A mismatched cell trips the protection circuit and prevents charging.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through the Crusher Evo's charge controller and confirmed BMS handshake, stable cutoff at 4.2V full charge, and low-voltage protection triggering correctly before deep discharge. The haptic bass circuit drew sustained current without triggering false overcurrent cutoff.
  • First-cycle calibration on the Crusher Evo: After fitting the new cell, charge to full before powering on the headphones. The Crusher Evo's fuel gauge IC recalibrates its capacity estimate on the first complete charge cycle — skipping this step causes the battery indicator to read inaccurately for several sessions.

Why the Crusher Evo cuts out mid-session with the bass slider engaged

The Sensory Bass haptic driver pulls additional current on top of the audio amplifier draw. When the cell voltage sags under that combined load — typically below 3.4V on a degraded or storage-discharged cell — the BMS trips and cuts power to protect the cell. This looks like a sudden shutdown rather than a gradual power-down. A fresh, fully charged cell holds voltage above the BMS cutoff threshold even under peak haptic draw.

Battery indicator showing full but headphones shut off after short use

A new cell shipped at storage voltage (typically 3.6–3.7V) can cause the Crusher Evo's fuel gauge IC to report an incorrect state-of-charge. The headphones appear fully charged but the usable capacity reads as near-empty after a short session. Run one complete charge cycle — charging uninterrupted until the indicator shows 100% — and the fuel gauge resets its baseline. After that first full cycle, the reported charge level tracks actual capacity correctly.

Frequently Asked Questions

The bass slider on my Crusher Evo makes the headphones cut out — is that a battery issue?

Yes. The haptic bass driver pulls extra current on top of the audio amp, and a worn or storage-discharged cell sags below the BMS cutoff voltage under that combined load. The BMS then trips and shuts the headphones off to protect the cell. Fit the new battery, charge it fully, and the voltage under load stays above the 3.4V cutoff threshold.

My Crusher Evo talk time feels shorter than it should for the first few charges after replacing the battery — is something wrong?

Nothing is wrong. A new Li-Polymer cell needs three to five full charge-discharge cycles before it reaches its rated 1200mAh capacity. Each cycle the cell's electrolyte fully saturates and the BMS refines its capacity estimate. Run full cycles — charge completely, use until the low-battery warning triggers, then charge again — and talk time increases noticeably by cycle three.

My Crusher Evo headphones feel warm near the ear cup during long listening sessions after fitting the new battery — should I be concerned?

Mild warmth is normal. The Crusher Evo houses the amplifier, haptic driver, and battery in a compact ear cup, and sustained combined current draw generates heat in a small space. It becomes a concern if the ear cup is hot to touch or if the headphones shut off unexpectedly — that points to a sustained overcurrent condition. Check that the replacement cell connector is fully seated; a partial connection increases resistance and heat at the joint.
