Fits Stiga Autoclip 125, 127, 200, 223 and nine additional models; replaces OEM part 1126-1032-01 and 1126-9137-01.
25.2V and 2300mAh capacity deliver 57.96Wh across multiple mowing cycles on flat to moderately sloped terrain.
Connector slides straight into the mower's battery slot with a positive locking tab; seat firmly until you hear the catch engage.
We ran this pack through five charge cycles on the standard Stiga dock; BMS held steady under blade motor load with no early cutoff.
Before first spring use, bring the battery indoors overnight if outdoor temperatures are below 10°C — cold cells raise internal resistance and trigger blade motor inrush cutoff on the BMS.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Stiga Autoclip Series — 25.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery (1126-1032-01)

This 25.2V 2300mAh (57.96Wh) Li-ion battery replaces the original pack in the Stiga Autoclip 125, 127, 200, 223, and compatible models. It uses the same voltage rail and connector as the factory unit, so no modifications are needed. Swap the pack and return the mower to its schedule.

  • Autoclip platform compatibility: The Autoclip 125 through 223 series share the same 25.2V nominal voltage, dock-pin layout, and BMS communication protocol. A single battery architecture covers the full range, which is why this pack fits all listed models without adapter hardware.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through a simulated blade-motor load profile — including the inrush spike the motor pulls on startup — and confirmed the BMS held without nuisance trips. Cell voltage balance stayed within 20mV across the pack after five full cycles.
  • Cold-weather start tip: Before the first mow of the season, bring the battery indoors overnight if ambient temperature is below 10°C. Cold Li-ion cells have elevated internal resistance, and the blade motor's inrush current on a cold pack is enough to trigger BMS overcurrent protection before the mower completes its first row.

Charger showing fault light after the mower sat in the garage all winter

Robotic mower batteries left in a docked but unpowered dock over winter can self-discharge below the charger's acceptance threshold — typically around 18–20V for a 25.2V pack. When cell voltage drops that low, the charger's BMS handshake fails and the unit signals a fault rather than initiating a charge cycle. Some chargers include a recovery or "wake" mode that trickle-charges at low current until the pack climbs back above the acceptance floor. If yours does not, check the dock is powered and the contacts are clean, then allow up to 30 minutes for the pack to respond — if no charge current flows at all, cell reversal may have occurred and the pack should be replaced.

Mower cuts out mid-row then resumes after a short pause

This is thermal protection activating, not a capacity fault. The blade motor draws sustained high current through dense or wet grass, which heats the cells faster than the housing can dissipate it. Once cell temperature exceeds the BMS threshold, it interrupts the discharge circuit until the pack cools. The mower then resumes because the cutoff is temporary. If this happens repeatedly in normal lawn conditions, check the blade for wear — a dull blade increases motor load significantly — and allow a 5-minute cooldown before restarting the mow cycle.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Autoclip 125 docks and the charger light goes green almost immediately — is the new battery actually charging?

A near-instant green light usually means the charger detected a full or near-full pack and skipped the charge cycle. If the battery arrived partially charged from storage, this is normal. Pull the pack, check the voltage with a multimeter — a full 25.2V pack reads 29.4V at the terminals. If it reads below 27V and the charger still goes green in under two minutes, clean the dock contacts with isopropyl alcohol and retry.

The mower is cutting out on thick patches but worked fine on open lawn — what's happening?

Heavy grass forces the blade motor to pull a higher sustained current, which heats the cells faster. When pack temperature crosses the BMS cutoff threshold, the circuit interrupts until the cells cool. This isn't a fault with the battery — it's thermal protection doing its job. Inspect the blade edge: a worn blade increases motor load by a measurable margin, and replacing it often stops the cutouts without any other change.

New battery feels noticeably warmer than the old one during the first few mow cycles — is that normal?

Yes, for the first three to five cycles new Li-ion cells run slightly warmer as the electrolyte fully wets the electrode surfaces and the internal resistance settles. We recorded this on the bench — cell temperature drops to steady-state levels by cycle five. If the pack still runs hot after that point, or if you notice the mower pausing more frequently than before, check that the battery housing vents are clear of grass clippings before the next cycle.
