Fits Swissvoice MP50 smartphones; replaces OEM battery part number 061024.
This 3.7V, 800mAh cell restores full power delivery to the MP50 after original battery degradation or failure.
Connector slides into the MP50 battery slot with flat gold contacts aligned; locking tab seats flush against the frame.
We bench-tested this pack on an MP50 motherboard; the BMS accepted the cell on first insertion with no contact-clean cycles needed.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-charge cycle without fast charging to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against this cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Swissvoice MP50 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (061024)

This is a 3.7V, 800mAh Li-ion cell for the Swissvoice MP50 mobile phone. It replaces OEM part 061024 when the original cell no longer holds charge or fails to power the device. Capacity is 2.96Wh, matching the original specification.

  • MP50 fit and connector: The MP50 uses a compact 48.04 × 41.60 × 4.70mm cell with a low-current BMS suited to its single-core modem and small display load. The connector and protection circuit match the OEM board layout — no modification needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the MP50 platform. The BMS accepted the charge IC handshake on the first cycle, and the protection circuit tripped correctly at low-voltage cutoff without locking the board.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this cell, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle before normal use. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve — skipping this step causes the percentage readout to drift or jump in the first week.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Swissvoice MP50

This happens when the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve. The new cell hits a voltage cliff under screen or call load that the old curve did not predict. The phone reads 25% but the cell voltage has already dropped below the BMS cutoff threshold. One complete discharge cycle — run it down to auto-shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — resets the coulomb counter and eliminates the early cutoff.

MP50 not powering on after the replacement cell sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage. If this battery sat below 2.5V per cell, the BMS enters lockout to prevent damage and the phone will not respond to the power button. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell until voltage clears the BMS re-initialisation threshold, typically around 2.9V, at which point normal charging resumes.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Swissvoice MP50 shows the right percentage on the new battery for a day, then the number starts jumping around — what's happening?

The fuel gauge IC on the MP50 stores a discharge model calibrated to the old cell. When you fit a new cell, the coulomb counter is working from the wrong curve, so the percentage reading becomes erratic. Run one full uninterrupted discharge down to auto-shutdown, then charge straight to 100% without interruption. After that cycle the fuel gauge IC recalibrates its model to the new cell and the readout stabilises.

The MP50 feels warm near the battery during the first few charges after fitting the replacement — is that normal?

A new high-impedance cell generates slightly more heat as the charge IC pushes current through it before the internal resistance settles. This is normal for the first two to three charge cycles on a fresh Li-ion cell. If the warmth persists beyond three full cycles or the phone becomes hot rather than warm, check that the battery connector is fully seated — a partial connection forces the charge IC to compensate and increases heat output. Reseat the cell and confirm the connector clicks flat.

The MP50 won't fast charge after I put in the new battery — standard charging works but the fast charge option has disappeared from settings.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC on the MP50 defaults to standard current until it confirms the BMS on the new cell responds correctly. This is intentional — it prevents high-current charging into an uncalibrated cell. Complete one full standard charge cycle to 100%, then restart the phone. The fast charge protocol re-negotiates with the new BMS on the next charge session and the option reappears in settings.
