Fits T-Com Sinus WDA PDA using OEM part LIP1298MIPT battery connector.
3.7V lithium-polymer cell delivers 1300mAh capacity for full daily operation cycles.
Connector slides into vertical slot with keyed orientation—no forcing required on insertion.
Bench testing showed clean BMS handshake on first charge with stable voltage ramp.
Perform a full data sync to host computer before removing the old battery—the Sinus WDA stores open files and application state in RAM powered by the main cell, and removal without syncing causes permanent data loss.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

T-Com Sinus WDA — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (LIP1298MIPT)

This is a 3.7V, 1300mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the T-Com Sinus WDA personal digital assistant. It carries OEM part number LIP1298MIPT and fits the Sinus WDA directly. Capacity is 1300mAh (4.81Wh), matching the original cell specification.

  • Sinus WDA compatibility: The Sinus WDA uses a flat Li-Polymer cell at 3.7V nominal. The LIP1298MIPT format matches the physical bay and the BMS handshake voltage threshold the device expects on boot. No adapters or modifications needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the bench with BMS monitoring active. The protection circuit responded correctly to low-voltage cutoff and over-current conditions without triggering false shutdowns.
  • RAM data protection before swap: Sync all open files and application state to the host computer before removing the battery. The Sinus WDA stores active session data in volatile RAM powered entirely by the main cell — pulling the battery without syncing will wipe any unsaved data.

Why the Sinus WDA won't boot after a new battery is installed

Li-Polymer cells can leave the warehouse in a partially discharged state due to storage and transport time. The Sinus WDA boot sequence requires a minimum voltage threshold before the processor will initialise. If the cell voltage is too low, the device shows nothing on screen or flashes the power LED once and stops. Connect the device to the charger for at least 30 minutes before attempting the first boot.

Battery percentage dropping faster than expected during wireless sync sessions

The Sinus WDA's wireless radio draws significantly more current than the device consumes in standby or basic PDA use. Short, repeated sync sessions with the radio active accelerate voltage sag on the cell, which the fuel gauge reads as faster capacity loss. This is a load pattern effect, not a fault with the battery. Run a full charge cycle before comparing drain rates, and check that background wireless processes are not staying active between syncs.

Frequently Asked Questions

I swapped the battery on my Sinus WDA and now my calendar entries and contacts are gone — what happened?

The Sinus WDA stores live application data in SRAM, which is powered directly by the main battery. When the cell is removed, that RAM loses power and everything not written to flash is wiped. Before pulling the battery, sync fully to the host computer using ActiveSync so all data is written to persistent storage. Restore from that sync after the new battery is seated and the device has booted.

My Sinus WDA screen stays black after fitting the new battery — it won't turn on at all.

Li-Polymer cells often ship below 3.5V after storage, and the Sinus WDA needs a higher voltage at the battery terminals before the boot sequence will start. Put the device on charge for 30–45 minutes before pressing the power button. If the screen still shows nothing after that, check the battery contacts in the bay are clean and making firm contact with the cell terminals.

The Sinus WDA powers on fine but wireless sync keeps dropping or fails to complete after the battery swap.

The Sinus WDA's radio module is voltage-sensitive and will throttle or drop the connection if the cell isn't at a sufficient charge level. A partially charged new battery may not sustain the current draw when the radio is transmitting. Charge the device to full before attempting wireless sync, and confirm the battery indicator shows at least 80% before starting a data transfer session.
