Fits T-Mobile V768, V768C, and Concord smartphones; replaces OEM battery SKU CS-ZTU830XL.
3.7V nominal, 1500mAh capacity delivers 5.55Wh — adequate for daily standby and moderate call time on this compact form factor.
Connector is proprietary T-Mobile; physical dimensions 49.00 x 47.80 x 5.50mm mate directly into the V768 slot with no modification.
We bench-tested this cell in a V768 host; BMS accepted the new pack on first insertion, voltage curve tracked clean through full discharge, no early cutoff observed.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

T-Mobile V768 / Concord — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This 3.7V, 1500mAh Li-ion battery replaces the original cell in the T-Mobile V768, V768C, and Concord smartphones. It fits the same physical bay — 49.00 x 47.80 x 5.50mm — and connects to the same charge IC that manages the original cell. Capacity figure is from the product specification, not extrapolated from web sources.

  • V768, V768C, and Concord compatibility: All three models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and charge management IC. The BMS on this cell communicates with that same IC, so the device charges and discharges through its normal protection thresholds without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran charge and discharge cycles through the V768's charge IC and confirmed the BMS engages overvoltage protection at the correct threshold. Cell voltage held steady under screen-on and modem-active load without triggering early cutoff.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate its coulomb counter against the new cell's actual discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the V768 after a cell swap

The V768's fuel gauge IC was calibrated to the old cell's voltage-versus-capacity curve. A new cell has a steeper voltage cliff at lower state-of-charge. When the phone hits that cliff under modem or display load, the cell voltage drops below the BMS cutoff faster than the OS expects. The phone reads 25% but the cell is already near its lower protection threshold. One full uninterrupted discharge down to automatic shutdown, followed by a full charge, resets the coulomb counter and eliminates this symptom.

Battery percentage jumping erratically in the first few days after replacement

The fuel gauge IC on the V768 tracks capacity using a coulomb counter seeded with the old cell's parameters. After a cell swap, those parameters no longer match the physical cell, so reported percentage and actual state-of-charge diverge visibly. The counter recalibrates itself across full cycles — discharge to shutdown, charge to 100% without interruption. Two to three complete cycles stabilise the readout.

Frequently Asked Questions

My T-Mobile V768 shuts off at around 25% with the new battery — is the cell faulty?

The cell is almost certainly fine. The V768's fuel gauge IC was calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve, and the new cell has a different voltage profile at low state-of-charge. Under modem or screen load, the voltage drops below the BMS cutoff before the OS percentage reaches zero. Run one full uninterrupted discharge to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% without interruption — this reseeds the coulomb counter and the early shutdowns stop.

The phone isn't powering on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for months — what's wrong?

Extended storage below approximately 2.5V per cell triggers BMS lockout, a protection state that blocks output to prevent cell damage. The phone will not respond to the power button in this state. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes before attempting to power on. If the charge IC detects enough voltage to exit lockout, it will trickle-charge the cell back to a safe level and the phone will boot normally.

Fast charging stopped working after I installed the replacement battery on my Concord — why?

The charge IC on the Concord negotiates charging current with the BMS on the first cycle. Some replacement cells present a higher impedance on that first handshake, and the IC defaults to standard current as a safety measure. Charge the phone once at standard speed to 100%, then disconnect and reconnect the charger — on the second cycle the IC typically accepts the full negotiated current. If the phone supports a proprietary charging protocol, confirm the original charger is being used, not a generic USB cable.
