Fits T-Mobile Vibe E200 and Beat models; replaces OEM part Li3709T42P3h504047-H and Li3709T42P3h504047.
3.7V at 800mAh means this cell powers the processor, modem, and display through a full day of moderate use.
Connector is a standard two-pin JST; slides into the battery slot with the contact tab facing the charge circuit board.
We bench-tested this cell on a Vibe E200 charge cycle; the BMS accepted the new pack on first insertion without fault codes.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

T-Mobile Vibe E200 / Beat — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (Li3709T42P3h504047-H)

This is a 3.7V, 800mAh Li-ion cell for the T-Mobile Vibe E200 and Beat smartphones. It replaces the original cell when capacity has dropped, charge no longer holds, or the phone shuts down unexpectedly. Dimensions are 50 x 39 x 5mm — confirm these against your current cell before installing.

  • Vibe E200 and Beat compatibility: Both models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — one cell covers either device without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and load discharge on the Vibe E200 platform. The BMS negotiated charge termination correctly and held voltage above the modem-load threshold throughout the discharge curve.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After installation, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle before normal use. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging begins on an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Vibe E200

The Vibe E200 modem and display draw combined current spikes the original cell was tuned to handle. An aged cell's internal resistance rises, causing voltage to sag below the system cutoff threshold even when the fuel gauge still reads 20–30%. The phone treats the voltage drop as a hard low-battery condition and shuts off. A fresh cell with lower internal resistance sustains voltage through those load spikes — but the fuel gauge IC still needs one full calibration cycle to report the remaining charge accurately.

Phone won't power on after sitting in storage with a flat battery

If the original cell self-discharged below approximately 2.5V during storage, the BMS locks out to prevent damage — and the phone appears completely dead. Connect the phone to a wall charger and leave it untouched for 20–30 minutes before attempting to power on. The charge IC trickle-charges the cell back above the BMS re-enable threshold, typically around 3.0V, before normal charging begins. If the screen shows no charging indicator after 30 minutes on the wall adapter, the original cell has likely failed and replacement is the next step.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Vibe E200 keeps shutting off randomly even when the battery shows 25% — is that a phone fault or the battery?

That's the battery, not the phone. As Li-ion cells age, internal resistance climbs — under the combined load of the modem and screen, voltage sags below the system cutoff even though the fuel gauge still reads 25%. The phone isn't reading the battery wrong; it's responding to a real voltage drop the aged cell can't sustain. Fit a new cell and run one full discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates to the new cell's curve.

After fitting the replacement battery the percentage jumps around — it reads 60%, then suddenly drops to 40%, then climbs again. What's happening?

The fuel gauge IC on the Vibe E200 uses a coulomb counter calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve. A new cell with a different curve makes the IC misread state of charge until it maps the new cell. Run one complete discharge from 100% down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this gives the fuel gauge IC one full reference cycle. Percentage reporting stabilises after that single cycle.

The phone gets noticeably warm near the battery during the first few charges after the swap — is that normal?

A new cell starts with higher impedance than a broken-in one, so the charge IC pushes voltage against slightly more resistance — that friction generates heat. It's most noticeable on the first two or three charge cycles and drops off as the cell breaks in. Keep the phone out of its case for the first full charge to let heat dissipate freely. If it's still warm to the touch after five cycles, check that the battery connector is fully seated — a poor contact raises resistance further.
