Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

USCellular SCH-LC11 / SCH-I100 Geen — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery
This 3.7V, 1500mAh Li-ion cell replaces the original battery in the Samsung SCH-LC11, SCH-LC11R, and SCH-I100 Geen smartphones sold under the USCellular brand. It matches the original cell's voltage, physical dimensions (64.50 × 44.00 × 5.00mm), and connector layout. Install it when the original no longer holds a charge or shuts down unexpectedly under load.
- SCH-LC11 and SCH-I100 Geen compatibility: Both models share the same battery bay dimensions and 3.7V single-cell architecture. The BMS handshake on each device reads voltage and temperature from the same pin configuration, so one cell covers both variants without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on the SCH-LC11 platform. The BMS accepted the cell on first connection, voltage reporting was stable across the discharge curve, and the protection circuit tripped correctly at the low-voltage cutoff threshold.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first cycle: After installing this cell, run one full discharge to auto-shutoff before recharging. The phone's coulomb counter is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve. Skipping this step causes the percentage readout to jump or drop suddenly until the gauge resets against the new cell.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the SCH-LC11 after a cell swap
The SCH-LC11's power management IC uses a stored discharge curve to predict remaining capacity. When a new cell goes in, that curve no longer matches actual cell behavior. Under modem or screen load, the phone draws a current spike the fuel gauge wasn't expecting, voltage sags below the shutdown threshold, and the device cuts off — even though the reported percentage looks fine. One full discharge-to-cutoff cycle lets the IC relearn the new cell's voltage-to-capacity relationship and stops the premature shutdowns.
Phone not powering on after the replacement cell sat in storage
Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage. If this battery arrived at or below 2.5V per cell, the BMS may have entered lockout mode to prevent damage — and the phone will show no response when you press power. Connect the phone to a wall charger (not a USB port) and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell to bring it above the BMS re-enable threshold, typically around 2.9V, after which normal charging resumes.

Frequently Asked Questions
My SCH-LC11 shows 25% battery and then just dies — is the new cell faulty?
The cell is almost certainly fine. The phone's fuel gauge IC was calibrated to the old, degraded cell's discharge curve and doesn't yet know how the new cell behaves under load. When the modem or screen pulls a current spike, voltage drops faster than the gauge predicts, and the shutdown threshold trips early. Run one complete discharge to auto-shutoff, then charge to 100% without interruption — the coulomb counter will recalibrate and the early shutdowns will stop.
The battery percentage on my SCH-LC11 keeps jumping around after I put the new cell in — sometimes it reads 60%, then suddenly 45%.
That erratic behaviour is the fuel gauge IC recalibrating against an unfamiliar cell. The old calibration data stored in the phone no longer maps correctly to the new cell's discharge curve, so the percentage estimate swings as the IC tries to reconcile measured voltage with its outdated model. One full discharge-charge cycle — no interruptions — gives the coulomb counter enough data to build an accurate new curve. After that cycle, the percentage readout stabilises.
Fast charging stopped working on my SCH-LC11 right after I swapped the battery — it only trickle charges now.
On the first cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC on the SCH-LC11 often defaults to a reduced current rate while it validates the new cell's temperature and impedance response. This is a safety behaviour, not a fault. Charge the phone to 100% at the slower rate, let it sit at full charge for five minutes, then unplug and replug — the charge IC re-evaluates the cell and typically restores the higher charge current on the second session.
