Fits ViewSonic V350 smartphones, replaces OEM HH08C battery directly.
3.7V, 1500mAh Li-ion cell powers calls, messaging, and apps on the V350.
Connector slides into the battery slot with locking tab secured against frame contact.
Bench test showed clean BMS handshake on first insertion; fuel gauge IC required one full discharge-charge cycle to map new cell discharge curve accurately.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle—this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

ViewSonic V350 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (HH08C)

This is a 3.7V Li-ion replacement battery for the ViewSonic V350 smartphone. It carries 1500mAh (5.55Wh) capacity and slots directly into the V350's battery bay. Use this when the original cell no longer holds a charge or shuts the phone down unexpectedly.

  • V350 fit: The V350 uses a sealed 3.7V single-cell layout with a fixed connector orientation. This cell matches that voltage rail, physical footprint (65 × 42 × 5mm), and connector pinout — so the phone's charge IC and fuel gauge IC can communicate with the replacement cell without errors.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a V350 unit. The BMS accepted charge from the phone's charge IC without triggering a rejection fault, and voltage held stable through low-current screen-on load.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one full discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Why the V350 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The V350's fuel gauge IC builds a discharge curve from the original cell over hundreds of cycles. Swap in a new cell and that stored curve no longer matches. The IC interpolates percentage against the wrong reference, so readings can appear inflated or inconsistent. One complete discharge-to-charge cycle lets the coulomb counter reset and relearn the new cell's actual capacity curve.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens when the cell voltage drops sharply under load — typically during modem activity or screen-on bursts — faster than the fuel gauge IC predicted. The phone's protection circuit sees the voltage cliff and cuts power before the reported percentage reaches zero. It is not a faulty cell. Run two full discharge-charge cycles to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate its low-voltage threshold against the new cell. After calibration, shutdown should track closer to 5–8%.

Frequently Asked Questions

The V350 won't turn on at all after sitting in a drawer for months — is the new battery dead on arrival?

Almost certainly not. A cell that sat in storage at low state of charge can drop below 2.5V, which triggers BMS lockout — the battery disconnects itself to prevent damage. Plug the phone into a wall charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes before attempting to power on; the charge IC needs time to trickle-charge the cell back above the BMS re-enable threshold of around 3.0V per cell.

Fast charging stopped working after I installed this battery — the phone only charges slowly now.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, some charge ICs on the V350 fall back to standard charge rates while they verify the new cell's impedance profile. This is normal behaviour, not a defect. Run one full charge to 100% at the slow rate, then disconnect and allow a full discharge before plugging in again. Fast charging typically resumes from the second cycle onward once the charge IC has logged a baseline impedance reading.

The battery percentage jumps around erratically — goes from 60% to 45% in seconds, then back up.

This is the fuel gauge IC recalibrating after the cell swap. The coulomb counter is comparing live voltage readings against a discharge curve built on the old cell, so the percentage calculation is unreliable until it relearns. Complete two full discharge-charge cycles without interruption — let the phone drain to auto-shutdown and charge uninterrupted to 100% each time. After two cycles, the IC's reference curve should stabilise and percentage reporting will track normally.
