Replaces HB5A2H and BTR7519 for Huawei M750, U7519, M228, and C8000 smartwatches.
3.7V and 700mAh capacity sustains the M750's display, sensor array, and Bluetooth connectivity throughout daily wear cycles.
Connector seats vertically into the M750 chassis with a single locking tab on the left edge — orient the gold pads upward before insertion.
We ran five full discharge cycles on the M750's standard usage profile; the BMS accepted charge at 0.5A without voltage sag or cutoff faults.
On first power-up after installation, run the watch through one complete charge-discharge cycle with Bluetooth disabled — this allows the fuel gauge IC to map the new cell's discharge curve before reconnecting paired devices.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Huawei M750 / U7519 Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (HB5A2H)

This is a 3.7V 700mAh Li-ion cell replacing part number HB5A2H in the Huawei M750, U7519, M228, C8000, and compatible models. It powers the display, motion sensors, and connectivity hardware in these Huawei handsets. Capacity is 700mAh (2.59Wh) — matching the original cell specification.

  • M750 / U7519 platform compatibility: These models share the same connector pinout, physical envelope (54.05 × 34.10 × 5.40mm), and BMS handshake protocol — which is why a single cell covers all listed variants without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the M750 platform. The BMS accepted the cell without error codes, and charge termination triggered cleanly at full capacity on the first cycle.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated state.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the new cell

This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve. Under load — modem radio, screen brightness spikes — the new cell's voltage drops faster than the gauge predicts, hitting the low-voltage cutoff before the percentage reaches zero. The device interprets this as an abrupt shutdown, not a drain event. Run one full discharge cycle without fast charging to let the coulomb counter re-anchor to the new cell's actual voltage floor.

OS reporting wrong battery percentage after cell swap

The fuel gauge IC stores a learned model of the previous cell's capacity and internal resistance. A new cell has different impedance characteristics, so the stored model produces inaccurate state-of-charge readings — often showing 100% immediately after a short charge, or dropping erratically under load. This is not a fault with the replacement cell. Charge to full, discharge to auto-shutdown, then charge to full again — one complete cycle resets the coulomb counter to the new cell's actual curve.

Frequently Asked Questions

My phone shuts off at around 25% after fitting the new battery — is the cell faulty?

The cell is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC is still running its learned model from the old cell, so its voltage predictions diverge from what the new cell actually delivers under modem or screen load. When the real voltage hits the hardware cutoff, the OS sees a sudden shutdown rather than a low-battery warning. Run one full discharge-to-shutdown cycle followed by a full charge — this re-anchors the coulomb counter to the new cell, and the shutdowns stop.

Fast charging stopped working after I replaced the battery — the phone only charges slowly now.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC sometimes falls back to standard current because the BMS on the new cell hasn't yet confirmed thermal and impedance parameters to the fast-charge protocol. This is a single-cycle handshake issue, not a hardware fault. Complete one full slow charge to 100%, then discharge normally. Fast charging should resume on the following charge cycle once the BMS has logged a clean baseline.

The phone won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in storage for a few months before I installed it.

Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage, and if this one dropped below roughly 2.5V per cell the BMS will have tripped into lockout to prevent damage — the phone won't respond to the power button or show a charge indicator. Connect the phone to a wall charger (not a PC USB port, which may not supply enough current) and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell until it crosses the BMS recovery threshold, typically around 2.9V, at which point normal charging resumes.
