Fits Vodafone 360, H1360, 360 H1, and 360 M1 smartphones, replacing OEM part EB504465VU and SO1S416AS/5-B.
Delivers 3.7V at 1500mAh capacity, providing the same energy density as the original cell for standard daily use cycles.
Connector seats into the stock battery slot with standard tab orientation; no adapter or modification needed for installation.
We bench-tested this cell in a 360 unit and confirmed the fuel gauge IC accepted the new BMS handshake without early cutoff on discharge.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the coulomb counter recalibrates against the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Vodafone 360 Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (EB504465VU)

This is a 3.7V, 1500mAh Li-ion cell for the Vodafone 360, H1360, 360 H1, and 360 M1 smartphones. It replaces OEM part EB504465VU and SO1S416AS/5-B directly. The cell measures 64.60 × 43.90 × 5.20mm — confirm these dimensions against your existing battery before fitting.

  • 360 and H1360 platform compatibility: The 360, H1360, 360 H1, and 360 M1 all share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — one cell covers all four variants without adapter or modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on 360-series hardware. The BMS accepted charge current correctly, thermal cutoff triggered at spec, and the protection circuit held voltage above the 2.5V floor under load.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after install: On first use, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle before enabling high-current charging. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's actual discharge curve before pushing elevated current into an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This is a voltage cliff issue, not a capacity fault. When the modem radio or display draws a high current burst, the new cell's terminal voltage briefly drops below the BMS cutoff threshold — even though the fuel gauge still reports 20–30% remaining. The old fuel gauge calibration does not match the new cell's discharge curve, so the percentage reading is inaccurate. Run one full discharge cycle without fast charging to force recalibration, and the shutdowns typically stop.

Phone reports wrong battery percentage after cell swap

The fuel gauge IC stores a learned model of the previous cell's impedance and capacity fade. Swapping in a new cell does not automatically reset that model. The result is percentage readings that jump, stall, or read 100% after a short charge. A single full discharge — down to automatic shutdown — followed by a full uninterrupted charge resets the coulomb counter and brings reported percentage back in line with actual cell state.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Vodafone 360 won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for months — is the cell dead?

Likely not dead, but the BMS has locked out due to deep discharge below 2.5V per cell during storage. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC needs to trickle current into the cell to bring voltage above the BMS recovery threshold before the phone will respond. If the charge indicator does not appear after 30 minutes, try a second charger to rule out a current-limited port.

Fast charging stopped working after I fitted this battery — my old cell charged quickly but this one crawls.

The proprietary charge protocol negotiation on the 360 series sometimes fails on the first cycle with a new BMS, defaulting to standard 500mA input. This is not a fault — it is the charge IC being conservative with an uncalibrated cell. Complete one full standard charge cycle, then reconnect with the fast charger. On the second cycle, the charge IC typically re-negotiates the higher current tier once it has a baseline impedance reading from the new cell.

The phone gets noticeably warm near the battery during the first few charges — is that normal with a new cell?

Yes, and it is specific to the first few cycles. A new high-impedance cell dissipates more energy as heat during charging than a broken-in cell does. Internal resistance drops after three to five full cycles, and the warmth reduces noticeably. If the phone becomes hot enough to be uncomfortable to hold, or charging stops before 100%, that indicates the thermal cutoff has tripped — let the phone cool to room temperature and resume charging at 3.7V input to complete the cycle.
