This is a 3.85V, 2500mAh (9.63Wh) Li-ion cell for the Wiko P130 and View Go smartphones. It replaces the original battery when capacity has dropped from repeated charge cycles or when the cell no longer holds a usable charge. Dimensions are 77.00 × 59.90 × 4.04mm — verify these against your existing cell before fitting.

  • P130 and View Go compatibility: Both devices share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and 3.85V nominal voltage rail, so one cell covers both models without any modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the P130 platform and confirmed the BMS communicates correctly with the charge IC — no false full-charge cutoff, no immediate protection trip at load.
  • First-cycle fuel gauge reset: On first use after fitting, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated state.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

New cells have a steeper voltage curve than the worn cell the fuel gauge IC was calibrated to. Under modem or screen load, voltage drops sharply at around 3.6–3.7V, which the uncalibrated coulomb counter interprets as safe but the hardware protection circuit reads as undervoltage. The phone cuts power before the displayed percentage reaches zero. One full discharge-charge cycle with fast charging off corrects the coulomb counter's reference curve and eliminates most early shutdowns.

OS reporting wrong battery percentage after cell swap

The fuel gauge IC stores a learned discharge model for the old cell. After fitting a new cell, that stored model no longer matches the actual voltage-to-capacity curve. The percentage shown on screen can jump, stall, or read higher than the real state of charge. Drain the phone fully until it powers off, then charge uninterrupted to 100% with fast charging disabled — one complete cycle resets the IC's reference and restores accurate percentage reporting.

My Wiko P130 won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is the battery dead?

It's not dead, but the BMS has likely tripped into lockout. When a Li-ion cell drops below approximately 2.5V during storage, the protection circuit cuts output to prevent damage. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing any buttons. Most BMS circuits on this cell will accept a trickle recovery charge and release the lockout, after which the phone will boot normally.

Fast charging stopped working the first time I plugged in the phone after fitting the new battery — what's happening?

The USB-PD or proprietary fast-charge handshake can fail on the first cycle after a cell swap because the charge IC detects an uncalibrated cell and defaults to standard 5V charging as a precaution. This is normal behaviour, not a fault with the battery. Charge once at standard rate to 100%, then unplug and restart the phone. On the next charge cycle, fast charging should re-negotiate correctly.

The phone feels warm near the battery area while charging with the new cell — should I be concerned?

Mild warmth during the first few charge cycles is expected. A new cell typically has slightly higher internal impedance than a broken-in one, which means the charge IC dissipates a little more heat while pushing current into it. If the phone becomes hot to the touch or charging stops before 100%, remove the charger and let it cool. Normal warmth during the first two or three cycles settles once the cell's impedance drops — check that ambient temperature stays below 35°C while charging during this break-in period.
