Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Wiko U Feel Go / P4661AN — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (TLE17K22)
This 3.8V, 3800mAh Li-Polymer battery replaces the original TLE17K22 cell in the Wiko U Feel Go and P4661AN smartphones. It fits the 5-inch mid-range handset directly, restoring full power capacity to a device suffering from a worn or failed original cell. Capacity is rated at 14.44Wh.
- U Feel Go and P4661AN compatibility: Both model numbers reference the same hardware platform — identical battery bay dimensions (81.10 × 60.80 × 4.60mm), the same 3.8V nominal rail, and the same connector pinout. One cell covers both.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the U Feel Go platform. The BMS accepted the cell without error flags, charge current ramped correctly through CC/CV phases, and the protection circuit tripped at expected over-voltage thresholds.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle at standard current. The fuel gauge IC on the U Feel Go is calibrated to the original cell's discharge curve — a slow first cycle lets it remap against the new cell before fast-charge currents are applied.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on a fresh TLE17K22 replacement
This is a fuel gauge IC mismatch, not a faulty cell. The coulomb counter in the U Feel Go retains the discharge curve from the old, degraded cell. When the new cell's actual voltage drops under modem or display load, the IC predicts more capacity remaining than exists — then hits the voltage cliff and cuts power instantly. One full discharge cycle from 100% to automatic shutdown, followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100%, forces the IC to relearn the new curve. After that cycle, percentage readings stabilise and early shutdowns stop.
Phone warm near the battery bay during the first few charges
A new Li-Polymer cell has higher internal impedance than a cell that has been through several cycles. The charge IC delivers the same current profile it would to a broken-in cell, which generates more heat across a higher-impedance load during those first cycles. This is normal and typically resolves by the third or fourth full charge. If the device becomes hot — not just warm — above 45°C, stop charging and check that the USB cable and charger output match the original spec (5V/1A or 5V/2A depending on charger used).

Frequently Asked Questions
My Wiko U Feel Go powers off suddenly at around 25% after fitting the new battery — is the cell dead?
The cell is fine. The fuel gauge IC stored the discharge curve from the worn original battery and is misreading the new cell's voltage behaviour under load. Run one complete cycle — charge fully to 100%, use the phone until it shuts itself off, then charge back to 100% without interruption. The coulomb counter recalibrates against the new discharge curve and the early shutdowns stop.
Fast charging stopped working after I replaced the battery on my U Feel Go — standard charging still works.
On the first cycle after a cell swap, the BMS on the new cell sometimes rejects the fast-charge handshake until it completes one standard charge-discharge cycle. Use the original charger at its base output (5V) and run a full charge cycle without the fast-charge adapter. After that cycle, reconnect the fast-charge adapter — the BMS typically accepts the higher-current protocol from the second cycle onward.
The battery percentage on my U Feel Go jumps around erratically — it drops from 60% to 40% in minutes, then holds steady.
Erratic percentage jumps after a cell replacement are a fuel gauge IC recalibration symptom, not a cell defect. The IC's learned capacity model no longer matches the new cell's actual charge state at given voltages. Charge the phone to 100% until the charge current drops to trickle (the phone will feel barely warm), leave it on charge for a further 30 minutes, then discharge it fully in a single session. That sequence gives the IC the full voltage window it needs to rebuild an accurate capacity map.
