Fits Wolf Garten R10Ac, R10D, R30Ac, R50Ac cordless mowers; OEM equivalent battery pack replacement.
25.2V 6900mAh Li-ion delivers full power to cutting deck and motor on residential grass cutting.
Slide connector interfaces directly into mower battery slot; locking tab seats flush with motor housing.
We bench-tested with Wolf Garten charger — BMS accepted pack on first cycle, no fault codes, voltage regulation stable under blade load.
Before mowing in spring after winter storage, bring this pack indoors overnight if outdoor temperature is below 10°C — cold cells trigger BMS cutoff on blade motor inrush.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Wolf Garten R10Ac / R30Ac / R50Ac — 25.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This 25.2V Li-ion pack at 6900mAh (173.88Wh) replaces the original battery in the Wolf Garten R10Ac, R10D, R30Ac, and R50Ac cordless lawn mowers. It slots into the same battery bay and communicates with the mower's onboard BMS using the same cell voltage profile. Voltage and connector match the OEM specification.

  • R10Ac, R10D, R30Ac, R50Ac compatibility: These four mower models share the same 25.2V battery platform and connector pinout. The cutting deck motor on each draws current through the same BMS handshake protocol, so one cell configuration covers all four variants.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack under simulated blade-load cycles to verify BMS cutoff thresholds and cell balancing behaviour. The protection circuit responded correctly at both high-draw start surge and sustained cutting load without nuisance trips.
  • Seasonal storage tip: Before storing the mower over winter, discharge the pack to around 50–60% charge — not flat, not full. Storing a Li-ion pack at full charge for several months accelerates cell degradation faster than normal use will.

BMS cutoff on thick-grass and wet-grass blade load

The blade motor on the R10Ac series draws a sharp inrush current every time it hits dense or wet grass. If the pack's cells are partially depleted or cold, internal resistance rises and the BMS may read that spike as an overcurrent fault and cut power. This is a protection response, not a faulty battery. Let the pack rest for five minutes, then resume mowing at a slightly faster walking pace to reduce dwell time per blade rotation.

Charger refusing to accept the pack after winter storage

Li-ion cells left in a garage over winter can self-discharge below the charger's minimum acceptance voltage — typically around 2.5V per cell. When that threshold is crossed, most Wolf Garten chargers show a fault light and refuse to begin a charge cycle. Bring the pack indoors at room temperature for several hours first — some chargers will then detect the slightly recovered cell voltage and enter a recovery charge mode. If the charger accepts the pack at 25–26V resting voltage, the cycle has completed correctly.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Wolf Garten R10Ac cuts out halfway through a row, then starts again after a minute — is the battery faulty?

This is thermal protection triggering, not a cell fault. The blade motor generates sustained heat in the pack during long cutting runs, and the BMS shuts down output when internal temperature exceeds its threshold. Allow a five-minute cooldown with the battery removed from the mower and placed in the shade. If it recovers and completes the next row, the pack is functioning correctly — reduce continuous run time per session until the cells condition through the first five cycles.

The charger light stays red and won't switch to green after the mower sat unused all winter — what's happening?

Self-discharge over winter has likely pulled the cell voltage below the charger's acceptance floor. Most chargers for this platform require the pack to present above roughly 20V before they initiate a full charge cycle. Bring the battery indoors to room temperature for at least four hours and try again — warmer cells recover a small amount of resting voltage, which is often enough for the charger to begin. If it accepts the pack and reaches a green light, check resting voltage at the terminals: a healthy fully charged 25.2V Li-ion pack should read 29.4V.

The new battery feels noticeably warmer than the old one after a mowing session — should I be worried?

New Li-ion cells run warmer than a worn pack for the first several charge-discharge cycles because fresh cells accept and release current more efficiently, drawing higher actual current through the motor circuit. This is normal conditioning behaviour and typically settles after five full cycles. Surface warmth to the touch after a session is expected — the pack should not be too hot to hold. If it is uncomfortably hot or the mower cuts out repeatedly, let it cool for 10 minutes between runs until the cells complete their initial conditioning.
